Chicago:
Team going real strong right now. Contreras throwing the pill well and while he is not getting the "W's" lately, he is 1-2 in his last 3 starts, his ERA is 2.95, with a WHIP of 0.98. Chicago has won their last 5 and 7 of 8. Chicago is batting .302 in their last 10 vs left handers, and their BP is much stronger lately. They have scored 11, 6, 6, 8 runs in their last 4 games. Carlos Quentin is their only guy out right now.

Cleveland:
They are really struggling and have lost their last 4, and 6 of their last 7. Sowers is on the mound and he is 1-2 in his last 3, with an ERA of 6.06 and a WHIP of 1.53 Sowers has actually pitched quite well in his last 7 outings, but 2 outings ago he gave up 6 runs in 4.1 innings. They have scored 4, 3, 1, 3 runs in their last 4, and they are batting .226 in their last 10 against right handers.

OTHER: I think the wrong team is favored and I am going with the hotter team.

Three plays lined up for today :

COL 1st 5 Innings +125

Worked last night, I have a good feelings that it will come through again this afternoon. I know the Dodgers have the best record in baseball, but I still cannot figure out why Colorado is such an underdog facing a pitcher with a 1.92 career WHIP against them. Kershaw is a solid pitcher, but not against the Rockies. Neither team has been hitting well this series, but I'd still give the slight edge to the Rockies. I'd take the full game in this one, but Colorado's bullpen has been awful and LA's has been excellent over their last 5 games.

SEA +160 1st 5 Innings

This is a great price for a good pitcher in Washburn vs. Petitte, who has horrible numbers against this Mariners lineup. The bullpen is hittable, as was appearent last night, giving up 5 runs between the 7th and 8th, so again, I'm sticking with the 1st 5 innings. I think Washburn will be solid, Petitte has struggled against Seattle's lineup in the past, and I'm getting very favorable odds.

CHW +105

I don't normally touch a home team defending against the sweep, but I like this matchup today. The White Sox have been hitting the ball like crazy, slugging .608 and a team batting average of .363 over their last 3. They have similar numbers over the last 7 as well. The Indians, on the other hand, are 2nd to last in the AL in slugging. To add to this, Contraras has been a whole new pitcher since a brief visit to the minors. He holds a 0.78 WHIP and 2.15 ERA in 4 starts since that time. He also has much better career numbers vs. Cleveland's lineup compared to Sowers vs. the White Sox's lineup.

Two solid pitchers on the mound vs. struggling offenses. Correlia has been just dirty over his last 5 outtings (4-1 w/ 0.62 WHIP). Wandy is solid, I give the Padres the edge because he is not quite as dominant on the road. Regardless, I see a low scoring affair with the Padres coming out on top.

PHI/ATL Under 8 -105

Happ + Vazquez + Turner Field + ATL offensive slump + PHI even bigger offensive slump = Quick Game

I may add a play on the White Sox a little later... we'll have to do a little more research on that one.
