I'm going to go ahead and make a play on the White Sox as well tonight. Statistically, KC isn't doing all that badly, but the Sox are just tearing it up recently. I'm going to ride with that. I also like the pitching matchup. Let's go with :

CHW -1.5 +120

I don't like making bets with odds below -150, so that usually excludes making plays involving CC. I looked at that one, because I had Seattle taking at least one away from the Yanks in that series. Vargas has been good this year, but I couldn't pull the trigger because his numbers aren't that good on the road. CC is a solid pitcher, but like I said, I don't like playing that much vig.

I also was thinking about taking LAA. Baltimore is terrible on the road and they just had to travel the entire way across the country. The heartbreaking loss they suffered yesterday in extra innings to Boston can't possibly help their confidence either. I decided against that one because Lackey has a tendency of getting shelled this year and the Orioles do have some solid hitters on their team. Thats just my take.

Special thanks to the HUFSTER, and ol' Foggyboy (thanks Axis). This was a great Todaysactions consensus pick (I had the play on my card, wanted to go heavier and unsure, and did so because I saw some folks here). Call that a blind blind leading the blind situation if you want, but it works for me if I know the folks I'm in agreement with look at the games from all kinds of angles that I may not have considered. I'll try to point these out earlier when they happen. We have a good assortment of posters now so more opportunities for concensus.

Also, special thanks to the Cubs for playing some ball today, and winning me a wager for once.

Really was surprised you wagered on the Cubs Thursday as
I thought you said you pass on them but root for them - maybe
I'm mistaken. When their is a majority of regular contributors to this thread on a team and/or side, overall it's been a cash positive situation. When these times have occurred, I will normally add anywhere between 25 and 50% more on that play - unless it exceeds my how much at risk amount/level for that day at one time. As I just posted a few minutes ago, I'll have a user's guide posted shortly/soon. None of these are that tough to figure out and all of them make sense.
