Nope. One unit is the size/weight of one's wager. Nothing to do with runs.

Ex. 1 unit could be $100.00 or it could be $1000.00

In my opinion it is better to put things in units; that way you can't be blamed for losing some tailer an amount of money they can't afford. It also helps get your mind set on money management mode which is something most end up learning the hard way.

Not a fan of the Tigers today and not on HOU either. SP is fine, bats have been

and if Joel goes in, a fan gets a reward for having a seat in fair territory in the outfield. Do I want them to win today? Yes, but won't put anything on them until the bats show a little run production. Just my two cents and hope it cashes for you.

I have zero problems if you want to count those games for your record in here because the site was down/crashed. You strike me a person of honor and I do remember reading you being on them in the thread (yesterday - I think). Bottom line is, it's your call and there won't be any flack one way or the other. Well, they won but just by a hair. Game played out more or less as you described so it was a good call of yours, and I probably should have gone lighter on this play. Close call.

I may slack off until after the All-Star game............Guys, I know it is early, but I FULLY and WHOLE HEARTEDLY think the NL will win this year. NL has play lots better against the AL than it has since the interleague began. I know its a little early but that may very well be the next game I play and I am thinking 2.5 units. BOL

While they won the game, I'm still not sold on their recent hitting (lack of) but they can go long and get it done now and then. Might be time to take that second and third look at first half games as their SP can keep them in the game - just an opinion and option.

I've got two games that I am really liking for today :

The White Sox have the hottest bats in the land, slugging a cool .597 over their last 5 games. The Indians are banging on the basement door in that department. On the bump, we've got two pitchers going in opposite directions. Floyd has been solid over his last 3 starts, while Pavano has has absolutely tanked. Pavano has also pitched especially bad at home this season.

I'm basing this second game largely on Ricky Nolasco, who holds a career 6-1 record over the Nats with a WHIP of 1.05. He has been lights-out since returning from a brief trip to the minors. The Marlins are a perfect 6-0 vs. the Nats this season and I don't see that trend reversing tonight. Florida is looking to blow off some steam after being swept by the Rays and the Nationals seem to be as good a punching bag as any.
