Detroit:
Edwin Jackson on the hill for the Tigers. He is 1-1 in his last 3 with an ERA of 2.70 and a WHIP of 1.15....He has given up 3, 2, 1, 0, 2 in his last 5 games. While the Tigers seem to have broken out of their scoring slump, they don't seem to hit well against any of the top pitchers in the game, and right now, Zambrano is pitching as well as anyone.

I felt as good as I ever felt about a pick. Sh....t happens

At least the Tigers won.

The one that really hurt was Zumaya giving up that 2 run homer. That hitter couldn't get around on any of his fastballs, and he lays out a flat change-up. More to pitching than just throwing the ball.

White Sox:
Gavin Floyd is toeing the rubber tonight, and he has given up one earned run in each of his last 3 outings. The Sox are only batting .217 at home this season and lead the league in the fewest runs scored at their home field. To add to their offensive woes, Jim Thome is out tonight for rest (this might be because Wolf is a left-handed pitcher and is pretty good against lefties).
