My best Sweden vs. Tunisia prediction focuses on the high-powered Swedish offense, taking on a struggling Tunisia defense. My World Cup predictions highlight why I expect Viktor Gyokeres and Sweden to score plenty and ultimately win, though not without a slight challenge from Tunisia.

Sunday's 10 p.m. ET match at Estadio BBVA in Guadalupe will air on FS1 and Telemundo and stream on Peacock.

⚽ Who will win Sweden vs. Tunisia?

It's hard to know what to expect from Sweden. During World Cup qualifying, they finished last in their group, with just two points and a 0-4- 2 record. But in the playoffs, the offense came to life, scoring three goals against both Ukraine and Poland.

On the other hand, Tunisia enters the World Cup playing poorly. They have been shut out in three consecutive Friendlies, scoring just once in their last four matches. It's hard to trust a team that doesn't win much at -115, but Sweden's offense should propel them to victory against a side that allowed five goals in early June.

Score prediction: Sweden 3, Tunisia 1

💵 My best bet: Over 2.5 goals (+120)

While Tunisia has struggled offensively in recent Friendlies, this is a team that played four consecutive Africa Cup of Nations' matches where both teams scored. While two of those four matches ended with two or fewer goals, the others featured at least four.

Sweden isn't very sound defensively, so I expect Tunisia to score at least once. But the Swedes were excellent offensively in their two most recent competitive games, scoring three times in each.

Viktor Gyokeres, F, Sweden (+165)

Gyokeres closed out World Cup qualifying on an incredible run. He recorded a hat trick against Ukraine, then scored the game-winner in the 88th minute against Poland to advance to the World Cup.

The Arsenal striker has scored 14 goals in 35 appearances, and with the Swedish national team, he has five goals in three appearances this season. Since 2024, Gyokeres has 15 goals in 14 Swedish matches.

Best Sweden vs. Tunisia goal-scorer pick: Viktor Gyokeres (+165 via DraftKings)

🥅 Will both teams score in Sweden vs. Tunisia?

Yes, both teams are going to score in Sweden vs. Tunisia. Gyokeres and Sweden's offense have been excellent in recent competitive games, and Tunisia just allowed five goals to Belgium on June 4. Considering Sweden's defensive struggles have plagued them in recent matches, I'll back a Tunisia team that has scored in eight consecutive competitive matches to score once here.

Both teams to score (BTTS) pick: Yes (-105 via DraftKings)
