Senegal vs. Iraq Prediction: Best World Cup Picks at Kalshi (June 26)

Senegal is still technically alive to advance to the knockout stage, and in my Senegal vs. Iraq prediction, I expect a massive effort from the African nation. Iraq has conceded seven goals at this World Cup, while attempting just one shot on target, which is why my World Cup best bets below don't just back Senegal to win, but to win by a lot.
A majority (79%) of traders are backing Senegal to win today's 3 p.m. ET fixture at BMO Field in Toronto. The match will air on FS1 and Universo and stream on FOX One.

Senegal doesn't have a point after tough losses to France and Norway. However, they still have a chance to advance if things break their way, but it all starts with scoring a lot to improve their goal differential.
Senegal went toe-to-toe with both Norway and France, and I think with what's at stake, this game is going to get very ugly. Iraq has been outscored 7-1 at this World Cup, generating just one shot on target all tournament. Senegal will constantly be on the attack in this match, eventually wearing down the Iraq defense en route to a convincing win.
Score prediction: Senegal 4 Iraq 0
💵 My best pick: Yes - Senegal Over 2.5 goals (52 cents)
Iraq's defense and goalkeeping have been terrible at this World Cup. The Iraqis have allowed seven goals on 10 shots on target, and that's with Norway and France each missing big chances in their games.
While Norway and France each had moments of lackadaisical play against Iraq, Senegal can't afford any such spells. This is a team that has already scored three times at this tournament, including twice against Norway.
🦶 Who will score in Senegal vs. Iraq?
Follow all of our expert soccer analysis for World Cup 2026.
Nicolas Jackson, F, Senegal (44%)
Jackson has scored just once in eight appearances with Senegal in 2026. However, after a rough one-shot performance against France, Jackson came to life against Norway, recording three shots, one of which was on target. He finished that match with 0.24 expected goals.
Jackson finally enters the kind of matchup that struggling forwards dream of. Five of the seven goals Iraq has allowed were scored by forwards, with Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe scoring twice each. For all Jackson's struggles this year, he had six goals in nine appearances with Senegal last year.
Best Senegal vs. Iraq goal-scorer pick: Nicolas Jackson (44%)
🥅 Will both teams score in Senegal vs. Iraq?
No, I don't believe that Iraq will score in this match. With just one shot on target in two matches, I don't expect the Iraqis to possess the ball enough to put anything meaningful on net. While Senegal has allowed six goals, the defense looked strong for the majority of the match against France, and Iraq doesn't have a player of the caliber of Norway's Erling Haaland.
Both teams to score (BTTS) pick: No (56 cents)
