Lamine Yamal scored his first World Cup goal in Spain's 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia. Despite starting the game as a sub in the first match, Yamal still has seven shots and two shots on goal at this tournament. Spain's next opponent, Uruguay, is in desperate need of a win. How does that affect the best Lamine Yamal props and odds?
Below, I break down the best Yamal props as part of our World Cup predictions.

‼️ THE MOST IMPORTANT NOTE ON THIS GAME
Spain has yet to wrap up Group H and needs at least a draw to finish in one of the top two spots in the group. With this in mind, I expect Spain to play this game with the same level of intensity we saw against Saudi Arabia. This means plenty of attacking from Yamal and Mikel Oyarzabal against a Uruguay defense that hasn't been good through two matches.
π° Best Lamine Yamal prop prediction
Lamine Yamal 2+ shots on goal (+120) vs. Uruguay
Yamal got his first World Cup start against Saudi Arabia, and his presence was immediately felt. He finished with five shots, tied for the most on the team, two of which were on target.
Uruguay's defense has been questionable at the World Cup. Cape Verde put four shots on goal, scoring twice, and even Saudi Arabia put three of its seven shots on net. I expect Spain to have the same attacking mindset that they had against Saudi Arabia when they put eight shots on target, because Yamal and the Spanish need at least a point to win the group.
💵 SBR Edge: Yamal has a knack for creating chances
Over the last two years, Yamal has played 10 matches with Spain, eight of which were competitive. In five of those eight competitive games, Yamal recorded at least two shots on goal. He's only failed to put a shot on target in two of those matches, and in one of those games, he came in as a sub.

Lamine Yamal to score a goal (+155) vs. Uruguay
In Spain's 0-0 draw against Cape Verde, Yamal started the game on the bench. With him in the starting lineup against Saudi Arabia, Spain looked like a different team. Yamal proved in his first World Cup start that the moment wasn't too big for him, and I don't expect nerves here either.
Uruguay's defense has allowed three goals to far inferior opponents to Spain. Because of this, I don't see how Uruguay handles Spain's attack for 90 minutes. The only thing working against Yamal is that Spain has so many talented players. But after five shots in his first start, it's clear Yamal isn't shying away from going for goal.
Lamine Yamal 1+ assist (+240)
Spain recorded an assist on all three goals scored by Spanish players against Saudi Arabia. Therefore, if Yamal isn't able to find the back of the net himself, I still expect him to be very involved in all attacks.
Yamal had 11 assists with Barcelona last season. He also recorded four assists in 10 Champions League matches, and he posted three assists in two World Cup qualifying appearances. Assists are undoubtedly hard to predict, but in a game in which I expect Spain to score a lot, I'll make a low-risk, high-reward play on one of Spain's best passers.
