Mexico has been impressive in this World Cup, winning each of its first two matches and still not conceding a goal. However, because the Mexicans have played so well, they have nothing to gain by winning this match. Meanwhile, Czechia, which suffered a draw against South Africa due to a late penalty kick, needs a win to keep its World Cup hopes alive.
Both of these teams are defensive-minded, and I expect this to be another low-scoring match. With the Czech having everything to gain and likely battling against numerous Mexican backups, I'm backing them to win this outright.

Mexico is yet to allow a goal, while Czechia has scored just once in each of its first two matches. And while Mexico is 2-0, the offense has scored just three goals this tournament.
Czechia has allowed three goals, but one came off a penalty, and it took South Korea 67 minutes to find the back of the net. There is no reason for Mexico to go for it in this game, and a 1-0 win for Czechia would almost certainly send them to the knockout round.

It's been a tournament to forget for Schick thus far, but he still remains one of the most dangerous goalscorers on Czechia. He has scored six goals in his last 13 matches with Czechia, netting two in five matches this year.
While he was completely irrelevant against South Korea, touching the ball just 11 times and failing to attempt a shot, he came to life against South Africa. Though he didn't score, he attempted two shots, one of which was on target, and he finished with 0.20 expected goals.
