The Boston Bruins and Toronto Maple Leafs meet on Monday for Game 2 of their first-round series as we offer our top Maple Leafs vs. Bruins player props and expert picks based on the best NHL odds. 

The Boston Bruins' dominant 5-1 Game 1 win marked their eighth consecutive triumph against the Toronto Maple Leafs. It was also the third straight contest between the two loathed rivals in which Toronto failed to score more than one goal.

Mitch Marner, Auston Matthews, and John Tavares were all held off the scoresheet in Game 1, while William Nylander didn't play for the first time all season. Marner has enjoyed success against the Bruins, at least in the regular season. He has 24 assists in as many regular-season contests against Boston. And despite a disturbing lack of team success in the postseason, Marner has 37 assists in 51 playoff games.

David Pastrnak anytime goal ⭐⭐⭐

It feels like David Pastrnak is due to light the lamp. The Bruins' marksman has just two goals in five games against the Maple Leafs this season despite tallying nine points. He had a helper in Game 1 and looked threatening occasionally. But he was by no means at his best. You know Pastrnak is playing at peak level when he's firing more rubber than a SWAT team during a training drill.
