Carlsson is among the Conn Smythe Trophy contenders, showcasing how instrumental he is every night for the Ducks. He has hit the Over on this prop in seven of eight games thus far, averaging 4.5 per contest.
In six of the seven Overs, Carlsson finished with 4 shots, so he's not eclipsing the total by much. However, he had 13 attempts in the last 2 games and has fired 51 pucks toward the goal in the playoffs, an average of 6.4 per game.

Nick Suzuki Over 0.5 assists (-120) at Sabres
Despite not cashing this pick in Game 1, I'm going back to it. Suzuki scored one of the two Canadiens' goals in the opener.
While I would have much rather seen him set up a teammate, Suzuki has been the most consistent of the Habs' stars throughout the postseason.
He has a point in seven of nine games, registering five assists. Suzuki scored in the previous two, but I expect him to get one of his linemates back onto the scoresheet in Game 2.
Mitch Marner Over 0.5 assists (+105) at Ducks
This is another pick I felt good about making in Game 2. It didn't pan out. Much like Marner, I had an off night. I still like the bet, particularly as it has moved to plus-money odds after his Game 2 failure.
The Vegas Golden Knights should be more effective offensively in Game 3 after being held to only 2.58 expected goals in Game 2. Marner is second on the team in assists (6), registering one in six of eight postseason games.
He has 56 helpers in 78 playoff games, an average of .72 per game.

Carlsson's consistency in the shots department convinced me to utilize him as my best bet. I'm combining that pick with two assist props from a pair of the league's best setup men.
Suzuki didn't notch an assist in the last three games, but he has scored two. Marner was held off the scoresheet in Game 2 for the second time this postseason. I like Marner to bounce back and Suzuki to get back to his bread and butter.

After my first rough evening of the playoffs (0-4), I've decided to invest less in Friday's action. The poor evening didn't shake my confidence, as the playoffs have been fruitful and profitable thus far.
However, Buffalo's top scorers didn't have an especially good game in the opener, and the Habs' top guns have faltered for most of the playoffs, excluding Suzuki.
The Ducks-Golden Knights series is lower scoring than most expected, so I'm slightly hesitant on Marner's pick. It's also why I'm avoiding any multi-point props. Each unit is $10.
