NHL Player Props & Best Bets Today Featuring 4 Hot Goal Scorers (Feb. 3)

For my NHL player props and best bets today, I'm featuring four goal-scorer props while spotlighting three of the hottest players in the league.

Sebastian Aho doesn't fall into the scorching-hot category, but he's come up clutch lately. The white-hot headliners include Leon Draisaitl, Nikita Kucherov, and Tage Thompson.

💰 Best NHL player prop bet today: Leon Draisaitl to light the lamp (+110)

Draisaitl enters on a two-game goal-scoring streak, and he's facing a Toronto Maple Leafs team that played on Monday in Calgary. 

The Maple Leafs allowed at least five goals in six of the previous 11 games, an ominous proposition with Draisaitl lurking. The Oilers forward scored a goal in four of the last six meetings against the Buds. And Edmonton's offense is smoking hot, scoring at least five goals in four of their recent five wins.

Nikita Kucherov to score in third straight game (+110) 

Is Kucherov going to catch Connor McDavid for the NHL points lead? He's scoring at a higher clip and has a goal in four of the previous five games, including the last two. 

Nobody has more goals than Kucherov since Dec. 27. He has 15 in a 17-game span, one more than Cole Caufield and Brock Nelson during that stint. And he scored two the last time the Buffalo Sabres invaded Benchmark International Arena. 

I also like Kucherov to notch at least two points, but the price (-160) is way too steep. 

Tage Thompson to score on consecutive nights (+180)

Thompson is one of Buffalo's primary offensive catalysts, having scored seven goals in the last 10 games. He scored on Monday in Florida, helping condemn the Panthers to a fourth straight loss. 

He has 17 goals in the 27 games since Dec. 7, the fifth-most in that timeframe. And he scored the last time he faced the Lightning in Tampa. Yes, please on all accounts. 

Sebastian Aho to score in third straight (+180) 

Aho scored a goal in each of the last two games and is looking to light the lamp in a third consecutive contest for just the second time this season.

He has three goals in his last five meetings with Ottawa and should feel confident with his team averaging 4.13 goals per game in the last eight games, the fourth-most.
