I'm expecting Nathan MacKinnon to continue inflicting untold pain on the Detroit Red Wings in my NHL player props and best bets today.

Kaprizov has multi-point outings in six of the previous eight, and he's as dynamic as they come against the Canadiens. The Thrill has five straight multi-point games against the Canadiens, accumulating 12 points.
Minnesota won three straight, scoring 15 goals. The Canadiens have been playing well defensively recently, but I'm banking on Kaprizov's streak against the Habs continuing.

Nathan MacKinnon to score against Red Wings (-130)
MacKinnon's recent record against the Detroit Red Wings defies logic, with the Hart Trophy odds favorite netting in seven of the previous eight meetings. He has nine goals in that span.
I backed MacKinnon to score against the Montreal Canadiens, but I missed the mark by one game as he lit the lamp twice in the following contest, scoring two on Saturday against the Red Wings to break his five-game goalless streak.
Steven Stamkos, Predators, Over 2.5 shots (+144)
Stamkos is disproportionately productive against the St. Louis Blues, firing at least three shots in eight of the previous 10 head-to-head meetings.

Robertson scored a goal in the last two games against the Winnipeg Jets. While he hasn't been hot recently, scoring just once in the previous five games, I like the matchup for the American sniper.
