Mike Gesicki, TE, Bengals (vs. Ravens): +195
Sean Tomlinson: Gesicki had been quiet this season prior to an 86-yard outburst on six catches with a touchdown last week. He may go back into the shadows soon, but the veteran is well-positioned to stay hot for at least one more game with Tee Higgins out due to a concussion. That will keep Gesicki’s target volume high, along with his snap count. He received a 41.7% snap share last week, a notable uptick from the pass-catcher’s 36.6% season average, and now he’ll take that usage up against the Baltimore Ravens’ woeful defense that ranks 26th against the pass. It should be a high-scoring clash with plenty of touchdowns too, as the 51.5 total is the second-highest of the week across the Week 15 odds.
DeVonta Smith, WR, Eagles (vs. Raiders): +200
Andrew Reid: The Eagles have been sputtering on offense, but maybe hosting the Las Vegas Raiders is exactly what they need to cure what ails 'em? Since Week 11, the Raiders have given up five scores to wideouts, and while that might not sound like a lot, it's all about the schedule. One of those four games was hosting Browns QB Shedeur Sanders in his first career start, and another was a grind-it-out divisional tilt with the rival Broncos. The other two games they allowed 3 TDs to Cowboys wideouts (one each for CeeDee Lamb, George Pickens, and Ryan Flournoy) and 2 TDs to Chargers wideouts (Ladd McConkey, Quentin Johnston). There should be plenty of opportunity for Smith - who has seen seven or more targets in six of his last seven games - to find the end zone and lead the Eagles to victory as they try to get back on the right track and pull away in the NFC East.
Blake Corum, RB, Rams (vs. Lions): +185
Dustin Saracini: Will lightning strike twice? A week after dishing out Corum as my best anytime touchdown prediction - he went off for 128 rushing yards and two touchdowns - we're still seeing some value on the Rams' backup running back. Los Angeles' offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur made good on his word in Week 14, saying he was going to preserve Kyren Williams for the playoffs down the stretch of the regular season. Corum ultimately found the end zone twice as a result. Look for him to split carries once again with Williams in a game destined for fireworks against the Detroit Lions.
Seahawks defense (vs. Colts): +600
C Jackson Cowart: The Colts sounded the alarm this week when they signed 44-year-old quarterback Philip Rivers, who last played five years ago, to potentially step in under center and stem the bleeding from a three-game losing streak. Whether it's Rivers or rookie Riley Leonard taking snaps today with Daniel Jones (Achilles) out for the season, neither is equipped to head into one of the NFL's toughest road environments and face this stingy Seattle defense, which has already scored three times in 14 games with its most recent touchdown coming two weeks ago. These odds suggest less than a 15% probability of that happening again this afternoon - I like our chances in a game that has historic disaster potential written all over it.
Terrance Ferguson, TE, Rams (vs. Lions): +650
Esten McLaren: I'm targeting the game with the highest Over/Under on the NFL Week 15 slate at 54.5 points, and I expect the defenses of the Lions and Rams to be giving away touchdowns like Oprah in her prime. Detroit has defended tight ends well, but the defense is banged up with Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph both missing from the secondary. Ferguson, a second-round pick, has just one touchdown on his rookie season, but he played a career-high 64% of the offensive snaps last week. He's still behind Colby Parkinson and Davis Allen on the depth chart, but a shootout in L.A. can open the door for some offensive work.
