Saquon Barkley looks to follow up his outstanding debut with the Philadelphia Eagles when his team takes on the Atlanta Falcons during Monday Night Football. The Eagles sit third in the Super Bowl odds entering the game.

Do the latest Monday Night Football odds reflect just how good Barkley was in Week 1? After his 109-yard, three-touchdown performance, it’s hard to consider any Unders when making the best Saquon Barkley MNF player prop bets.

Another aspect to consider is the absence of A.J. Brown. With Brown out, Barkley may see even more opportunities than during Week 1. The Eagles’ passing attack is still dangerous even during Brown's absence, so the Falcons can’t sell out to stop Barkley.

Is there anything stopping him from erupting again?

Saquon Barkley Over 74.5 rushing yards (-110) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Our five best sports betting sites can’t agree on where this number should be set.

DraftKings is posting it at 76.5 yards, FanDuel and Caesars sit at 77.5, and bet365 and BetMGM have it at 74.5. Meanwhile, BetMGM is asking -120 for the Over, and bet365 is shockingly asking -110, which is the best price available.

Barkley recorded 24 carries in Week 1, averaging 4.5 yards per attempt. Now he'll face an Atlanta defense that allowed Najee Harris to run for 70 yards on 20 carries.

This game won’t get so lopsided that the Eagles will abandon the pass, but the game script should favor Barkley. Our Mike Spector agrees in his Falcons vs. Eagles prediction, thinking Atlanta can keep it close.

Barkley, who's the Offensive Player of the Year odds front-runner, rarely cleared this number last season with the New York Giants. But this is a new campaign with a new team, and this total isn’t high enough.

Meanwhile, Rodrigo Villagomez is looking to the opposing backfield as part of his Falcons vs. Eagles MNF player props while projecting both of the Falcons' top running backs to make notable contributions.

Saquon Barkley Over 3.5 receptions (+170) ⭐⭐⭐

Barkley was only targeted twice in Week 1, but he did grab both passes to finish with two catches for 23 yards and a touchdown. Dating back to last season, Barkley has caught more than two passes 10 times in 15 games. The price for over 2.5 receptions is really high because of that.

Based on how Barkley was used in Week 1, I can’t justify taking him to go Over 2.5 receptions for -140, or -154 in some cases. The risk simply doesn’t match the reward. If Barkley is going to be more involved in the passing game, then I’d rather take him to grab four passes for a much nicer price.

The Falcons allowed three completions to running backs in Week 1. Additionally, Barkley may see an uptick in screen opportunities with Brown out, either by design or because of check-downs.

Whatever the reason and route to winning the bet, the price makes this prop worth the play.

Best odds: +170 via bet365 | Implied probability: 37.04%

Saquon Barkley -10.5 rushing yards vs. Bijan Robinson (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Barkley should hit his yardage Over tonight while Robinson struggles against the Eagles’ defensive front.

The Eagles allowed Josh Jacobs to run for 84 yards on 16 carries last week. However, Jacobs was kept mostly in check except for a long 32-yard run that significantly improved his yards per carry.

Robinson could break off a similarly lengthy run tonight, but he’s more likely to be involved in the passing game. Meanwhile, Barkley faces a much less daunting task against the Falcons’ defense.

Barkley will cover this spread if he hits 80 yards in this game. But he may not even need to clear 60 yards to cover here due to the strength of the Eagles' defensive line against Robinson, and because his team will likely be leading most of the game.
