Here are my best NFL MVP predictions, with odds provided by FanDuel.
🏆 Pick to win NFL MVP: Joe Burrow (+600) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's time to head on over to FanDuel for Futures Day and fire up Joe Burrow for his redemption campaign.
I not only see him as the passing yards leader this season but also a prime candidate to capture the NFL MVP - and for good reason.
Despite the Bengals missing the playoffs last year, he still drew MVP buzz. He’ll once again carry a heavy workload, and with Cincinnati capable of winning the AFC North, the stage is set for him to take home one of the NFL's most coveted awards. He highlights my NFL MVP prediction as a result.
Burrow didn’t just top the league in passing yards a year ago - he finished nearly 300 yards clear of Jared Goff. Remember, Goff ran the highest-scoring offense in the NFL at 33 points per game and still threw less touchdowns than Burrow, who led the league with 43 against just nine interceptions.
He's picking up right where he left off in the preseason, too.
Burrow also attempted 652 passes, far more than Aaron Rodgers, who ranked second with 584. That’s elite volume, which should remain the same heading into this season.
With Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins back - and even tight end Mike Gesicki capable of making big plays - expect him to maximize that workload and create plenty of scoring opportunities to pad those stats.
The Bengals’ defensive issues remain, which likely means even more offensive fireworks, and more pass attempts for Burrow. Just like last year, you'll see No. 9 trying to erase second-half deficits, and at +600 on FanDuel, the value speaks for itself.
💎 NFL MVP value bet: Jayden Daniels (+1000) ⭐⭐⭐
He's officially back - and with all of his weapons at his disposal.
Yes, the Washington Commanders gave Terry McLaurin a bag and signed Deebo Samuel in the offseason. If both can stay healthy, there's no reason to believe Jayden Daniels won't be in the running for NFL MVP come the final weeks of the season.
Daniels, who ran away with the Offensive Rookie of the Year award, already received a handful of fourth- and fifth-place votes for MVP a year ago, and he's one of my favorite NFL MVP predictions as a result.
The second-year quarterback finished with a top-10 completion percentage alongside a 100.1 QB rating in Year 1, almost rushed for 1,000 yards on top of his 3,568 passing yards, and comes into this season with a revamped offensive line with the addition of Laremy Tunsil.
The true dual-threat quarterback will have an opportunity to bolster his NFL MVP campaign with two division games against Jalen Hurts, a Oct. 27 game against Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs, and a Nov. 9 tilt against Goff and the Detroit Lions.
Head on over to FanDuel for Futures Day and lock him in at +1000 as he takes a Year 2 leap - you likely won't see this type of value come Week 3.
🎯 NFL MVP sleeper pick: Jared Goff (+3500) ⭐⭐⭐

The quarterback leading the league’s highest-scoring offense is trading at +3500 betting odds? That’s an easy bet to make. Goff is highlighted as one of my favorite NFL MVP predictions as a result.
Detroit averaged 33 points per game last season, three more than any other team, with Goff the driving force behind their success. He finished second in passing yards (4,629), second in yards per attempt (8.6), second in completion percentage (72.4%), and fourth in touchdown passes (37), and he has his entire star-studded cast returning to the offense.
He's developed himself into one of the game's premier passers in Detroit, throwing for 115 touchdowns against 39 interceptions since his arrival in 2021, and he's a big reason why the Lions rank in the top 10 in this year's Super Bowl odds.
With the Lions poised to shine again behind an offense that will be among the best in the NFL, taking a flier on Goff at +3500 offers plenty of upside.

NFL MVP odds FAQs ❓
What are NFL MVP odds?
NFL MVP odds reflect the likelihood of a player winning the Most Valuable Player award in a given season. These odds are set by sportsbooks and updated throughout the year based on player performance, team success, and market movement. Shorter odds (like +300) suggest a stronger favorite, while longer odds (like +5000) indicate a longshot.
How do I bet on the NFL MVP?
To bet on the NFL MVP, visit a legal online sportsbook and navigate to the NFL futures section. Select the player you believe will win MVP, view their odds, and place your wager. For example, betting $100 on a +1000 MVP candidate would return $1,000 if they win.
Who usually wins the NFL MVP?
Quarterbacks dominate the NFL MVP award, winning over 85% of the time in recent decades. Voters typically reward elite stats, team success, and game-changing moments. Keep an eye on QBs from playoff-contending teams when evaluating MVP bets.
