My best Chargers vs. Broncos player props for today's 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS) game at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver focus on Courtland Sutton, Trey Lance, and RJ Harvey. The Broncos are favored by 12.5.
The Chargers have announced that they will rest numerous key players, including quarterback Justin Herbert. This should lead to the Broncos winning in a blowout fashion. Below, I highlight how this will affect important offensive pieces for both teams. For more coverage of this game, check out our NFL Week 18 predictions.

Cortland Sutton Over 55.5 receiving yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Sutton only had four catches for 40 yards last week, but he’s recorded at least 59 yards in five of his last six games. When these two teams met in Week 3, he recorded 118 yards.
With the Chargers resting their starters, perhaps oddsmakers are concerned that the Broncos won’t throw for the majority of this game. But Sutton has 303 yards more than any other Bronco, so he’ll be a huge factor in the Broncos building their lead.

Trey Lance Under 0.5 passing touchdowns (+105) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Lance has appeared in three games this season, but he hasn’t thrown a touchdown. In fact, he’s now appeared in nine consecutive games without throwing a touchdown pass. His last one came in Week 18 of the 2021 season.
The Broncos have allowed just 18 passing touchdowns, which is tied for the fourth-fewest in the league.
RJ Harvey 2+ touchdowns (+375) ⭐⭐⭐
Harvey has found the end zone multiple times in two games this season, and he’s scored in five consecutive contests. He now has 12 touchdowns this season, despite serving as a backup for the majority of the year.
Though the Chargers have the league’s ninth-ranked rush defense, they’ve allowed 16 rushing touchdowns, which is tied for the 12th-most in the league. When these two teams met for the first time, JK Dobbins managed 83 rushing yards and one touchdown.
