Anytime Touchdown Scorer Predictions Week 15: Picks & Odds for Ravens vs. Jaguars on SNF

Our anytime touchdown scorer predictions were up to a 12.75-unit ROI for the 2023 NFL season before an 0-for-3 showing during the NFL's Saturday tripleheader, but we're back to get the best of the NFL odds for the Sunday Night Football matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars.

We kicked off the NFL's Week 15 with a green checkmark when Las Vegas Raiders tight end Michael Mayer scored at +550 odds to cash our first anytime touchdown scorer prediction of the week. That hit had us up 12.75 units for the season.

Unfortunately, we turned around and gave three of those units right back during the NFL's Saturday tripleheader, as we missed on all three of our selections. That has us back to plus-9.75 units as we look to get back on track.

Ravens vs. Jaguars anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Keaton Mitchell, BAL, RB (+220 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 

Projection systems have caught up to Keaton Mitchell's growing role in the Ravens' backfield but our NFL prop betting sites are still lagging behind.

Mitchell has been in line with Gus Edwards and Justice Hill for snaps in the three-headed rushing attack. His 0.4 projected touchdowns on SNF between the rushing and passing attacks match Edwards' projection. However, Edwards' highest touchdown odds are +210 via FanDuel while we can get this +220 ticket for Mitchell.

The Jaguars have given up just five rushing touchdowns to running backs this season but three of those have come in the last four weeks. I also like Mitchell's heightened usage in the passing game against a Jags team that has allowed 23 receptions to running backs in that time. Only four teams have surrendered more catches to the position.

Anytime touchdown scorer predictions Week 15: Saturday

Vikings vs. Bengals anytime touchdown scorer prediction: T.J. Hockenson, MIN, TE (+240 via bet365) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ❌

Let the Raiders' 63-point outburst on Thursday Night Football, one week after being shut out by the Vikings, dispel any concerns you may have in regard to backing QB Nick Mullens and the Vikings offense on Saturday.

Despite the Vikings only scoring three points in their previous game, this upcoming match presents a fresh opportunity. Tight end T.J. Hockenson, who participated in 93% of the snaps and secured five receptions out of eight targets for 53 yards last week, seems poised for a strong performance in this game.

Hockenson shares the Vikings' team lead with 16 red-zone targets this season. He has caught 11 of those for four touchdowns. Saturday, he faces a Bengals team that gave up a touchdown to a tight end each of the last two weeks, with a league-high 333 yards allowed to the position over the last four weeks.

Steelers vs. Colts anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Jaylen Warren, PIT, RB (+145 via DraftKings) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ❌

Jaylen Warren continues to cut into Najee Harris' snap share in the Steelers backfield. His 53% of the snaps played last week marked a season high and it was his first time topping 50% since Week 10. While he had just 11 yards on the ground with his seven carries against the New England Patriots, he caught four of five targets for 29 yards.

It's that usage in the passing game we're targeting in an extremely favorable matchup against the Colts. Only the Chicago Bears allow more yards per target to running backs than the Colts' 6.77 yards allowed. Only the Carolina Panthers have allowed more than the Colts' 14 rushing touchdowns surrendered to rushers.

Warren is the more efficient of the Steelers' two running backs, and he ranks third on the team with 53 targets through 13 games.

Broncos vs. Lions anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Josh Reynolds, DET, WR (+400 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ❌

Lions wide receiver Josh Reynolds has firmly established himself as the No. 2 receiver in the Motor City. He's also been targeted at least once in the end zone each of the past three weeks and has two scores as a result.

Saturday night, he faces a seemingly improved Broncos defense that has allowed just one touchdown to a wide receiver in the last four weeks. But that needs to be given context.

The Broncos' last four games were against the Los Angeles Chargers, Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns, and Minnesota Vikings. Three of those four games featured a backup quarterback playing significant minutes. The other was a loss to the Texans with receiver Nico Collins hitting paydirt for one of his team's two touchdowns.

Chargers vs. Raiders anytime touchdown scorer prediction: Michael Mayer, LV, TE (+550 via FanDuel) ⭐⭐⭐ ✅

The Raiders scored zero points during a Week 14 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. However, they're 3-point home favorites on TNF with Stick, a fifth-round pick, making his first career start for the Chargers. Las Vegas is also getting an implied team total of 19.

Mayer's only touchdown of 2023 came in Week 10 against the New York Jets when he hauled in his only red-zone target. In the three games, since he has caught seven of 11 targets and interim head coach Antonio Pierce spoke fondly of the rookie's development a week ago.

Mayer continues to command the lion's share of snaps for the Raiders' tight ends, hitting a season-high of 94% last week. He now faces a Chargers team that has allowed more yards to tight ends than all but four teams, to go along with four touchdowns allowed to the position.
