No calls will be made after 3 p.m. ET today, which is when the trade deadline ends. That makes prop betting tonight particularly difficult, as it’s unclear who will be on the court. So, let’s have some fun, shall we?

💰 Best NBA player prop today: VJ Edgecombe (76ers) Over 13.5 points (-110)

The Philadelphia 76ers traded last year’s first-round pick, Jared McCain, illustrating their belief in rookie VJ Edgecombe. He’s averaging 15.1 points per game after his 25-point performance against the Golden State Warriors on Tuesday.

Edgecombe gets another favorable matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers tonight. Apparently, the Lakers aren’t making any moves to fix a roster that ranks 25th in defensive rating. They allowed Edgecombe to score 15 points in the last head-to-head meeting.

With most of the best sports betting sites setting this line at 14.5, I’m scooping up FanDuel’s offering as my favorite player prop.

Kyshawn George (Wizards) Over 14.5 points (-114)

The Washington Wizards have traded for Trae Young and Anthony Davis this winter. But don’t worry, it’s unlikely they see the floor this year as the Wizards push for a high draft pick.

Washington doesn’t have to be as egregious with tanking tonight in a matchup against the best team in the Eastern Conference, so I am projecting higher minutes for the Wizards' young core. Kyshawn George has developed into a promising player, averaging 15.6 points and clearing this scoring line in 57.5% of his games.

With eight Washington players listed out tonight, including three who have been traded away, I’m backing George to lead the way.

Isaiah Collier (Jazz) Under 32.5 points + rebounds + assists (-120)

The Utah Jazz are ready to hit the gas in 2026-27 after trading for Jaren Jackson Jr, speaking to their confidence level in Keyonte George, who is among the top contenders in the NBA Most Improved Player odds.

With George out for a third straight game, Isaiah Collier is the team’s starting point guard. And well, the prop markets are a bit outrageous after one excellent game. Collier finished with 17 points, 22 assists, and five rebounds in 48 minutes against the Indiana Pacers.

Collier hasn’t cleared this PRA line in any of his other 42 games this season, averaging 9.6 points, seven assists, and 2.6 rebounds. Even with higher projections, I simply can’t get to this number.

Gui Santos (Warriors) Over 9.5 points (-112)

The Golden State Warriors have officially given up on the Jonathan Kuminga experience after trading him to the Atlanta Hawks last night. However, I’d argue that Gui Santos’ recent emergence was even more telling about their feelings toward Kuminga.

Santos has carved out a role in a depleted rotation, reaching double figures in four straight games. He’s averaging 14 points on nine field-goal attempts in 24.8 minutes per contest over that span.

With this Over as high as -150 at BetMGM, I’ll take the bargain at bet365 to win $8.93 on a $10 bet.
