Both of these teams' WNBA championship odds are greater than +20000, so it makes sense that the spread is close - I just wouldn't have the Sparks favored.

This is more so a bet against L.A. than it is a bet on Chicago. I can't bet the Sparks to cover back-to-back games, especially since they're just 1-3 ATS since Plum's injury.
They were somewhat lucky to cover against the Fever last time out, as they had just an 18.2% win probability, per ESPN Analytics, while trailing Indiana by 10 points in the first quarter.
The Sky, meanwhile, looked good against the Mercury without Diggins, winning outright by 11 points as 3.5-point underdogs. Sky +1.5 (-106) at FanDuel is the best line available among the top sports betting sites.

Stevens was one of those players last time out, attempting 10 field goals against the Mercury, the second-highest mark on the Sky. While she only made three shots in that game, she made 47.8% of her attempts last season, so look for her to stay aggressive and knock down shots at a higher clip.
