Cal Quantrill Under 3.5 strikeouts vs. Astros (-165)
To put it somewhat nicely, Quantrill does not strike anyone out, owning a 15% K rate this season while generating whiffs at a lowly 20% clip (ranked one of the worst in baseball). Against the Astros in his career, it's even worse, too. Over 97 plate appearances, the Astros are being punched out at just a 9% rate against Quantrill, and are walking 11% of the time. This is screaming for the Under to hit, and we'll drop two units on it as a result.
Shane Bieber Under 4.5 strikeouts vs. Padres (-148)
Something just isn't right with Bieber as he continues to ramp himself up after returning to the Jays around a month ago. He hasn't been missing many bats thus far, and historically, the Padres tend to do some damage against him. Over 47 plate appearances, he's striking this San Diego lineup out at just a 8% clip, giving me all the confidence in the world this play will hit for us. Let's ride.
