The F1 summer break is over as I profile the Dutch Grand Prix odds while detailing the favorites and my best bets to win Sunday’s race at Circuit Zandvoort (9 a.m. ET, ESPN).

With Mercedes’ dominance continuously decreasing, any of six drivers has an excellent chance of winning the Dutch Grand Prix. Kimi Antonelli is the +200 betting favorite, trading just ahead of Lando Norris (+300).

I expect Max Verstappen to impress on his home course, with Norris continuing the momentum he built after winning the Hungarian GP.

🏁 Early pick to win Dutch Grand Prix

Max Verstappen (+800)

The four-time world champion is yet to win a race this season. I’m sure that will change at some point, and I’m betting on it happening on Sunday.

Verstappen has three podium finishes in the previous four races, including second place at the Hungarian GP. Verstappen is also racing on his home course, where he won three straight from 2021 to 2023.

I believe racing in his homeland will galvanize the starved Dutchman.

💰 Early picks & best bets for Dutch Grand Prix

Here's a look at the best alternatives on the board looking ahead to Sunday's race:

Lando Norris (+300)

I’m confident the extended break won’t negatively impact McLaren or Norris, who won his first race of the season at the Hungarian GP. McLaren has made incredible strides in bridging the gap to Ferrari and Mercedes.

It has consistently upgraded the W17, and reports suggest the team won’t let off the gas on that front as the season enters the final stretch.

Norris won the Dutch GP in 2024, and he’ll be riding high after securing his maiden victory of the campaign.

Kimi Antonelli (+400)

Since winning five races in a row, Antonelli has won just one of the last five. However, much of that recent struggle has come down to car malfunctions and unfortunate mishaps. He was solid in the previous two races, winning the Belgian GP and securing a third-place finish at the Hungarian GP.

Mercedes should have the slight advantage. Thanks to the car’s superior efficiency, it should be best equipped to handle the increased downforce and tire degradation the course is renowned for.

Charles Leclerc (+550)

Charles Leclerc has found his rhythm recently, as the Ferrari driver looks more comfortable in the SF-26 each race.

Leclerc won his first race at the British GP, then followed it with a second-place finish in Belgium and a fourth-place finish in Hungary. I prefer him over Lewis Hamilton due to recent form, albeit only by a nose.

The SF-26’s efficiency should also be well-suited to handle the rigors and stresses of Circuit Zandvoort.
