It helps that Shohei Ohtani (2-for-11), Freddie Freeman (2-for-12), and Mookie Betts (0-for-9) are a combined 4-for-32 in their respective career against him. I'll take that. On the other side, I'll trust Lauer, especially since he's owned one of the Pirates' most deadly hitters in Bryan Reynolds (5-for-20) throughout his tenure as a Blue Jay.
