MacIntyre enters the week at No. 68 in the OWGR following a T-60 finish in last week's Cognizant Classic, but a more endearing T-6 result in the Mexico Open before that. The Scotsman was strong off the tee in both events, but his putter abandoned him on the Floridian greens last week after a better performance on the putting surfaces in Mexico.

The 27-year-old will make his first appearance at Grand Reserve Golf Club, but this event typically serves as a one-and-done for the best golfers in the field. MacIntyre is just that, and he's the top qualified golfer in the field in SG: tee-to-green across everyone's last 16 rounds.

We were able to first recommend this pick at +4000 odds from BetMGM this morning, but we can still make this pick at +3300. I wouldn't go any lower than this number.

Who is the Puerto Rico Open favorite?

Rasmus Hojgaard, brother of 2023 European Ryder Cup member Nicolai, enters his first PGA Tour event of 2024 at No. 75 in the OWGR. He's played four events on the DP World Tour to open the calendar year, with five straight finishes of T-11 or better, including a runner-up result in the Ras Al Khaimah Championship in late January.

The 22-year-old Dane is a four-time winner on the DP World Tour, with three of those victories coming via a playoff. His last PGA Tour event was the 2023 co-sanctioned Genesis Scottish Open, in which he missed the cut. Prior to that was the 2022 Barracuda Championship when Hojgaard tied for 48th.

Hojgaard enjoyed more success on the PGA Tour early in 2022. He finished sixth in the Corales Puntacana Championship against a field comparable to this one, and Hojgaard tied for 18th in the more competitive Valero Texas Open the following week.

He makes for a risky pick as the betting favorite, especially in an event that's served well for long-shot winners in the outright betting market.
