USC vs. Michigan Player Props, Odds: Bet Against Branch
It is undoubtedly a new era in college football, as USC will head to Michigan to begin league play on Saturday.
The Trojans are touchdown favorites at our best college football betting sites for their Big Ten debut. It marks the first time the Wolverines have been home underdogs for two games in a season since 2010.
In addition to our USC vs. Michigan predictions, our USC vs. Michigan player props expect an ugly defensive battle this weekend.

Zachariah Branch Under 47.5 receiving yards (-121) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Since our best sports betting apps released lines earlier this week, USC quarterback Miller Moss has seen his passing yardage prop fall from 270.5 to 258.5.
Interestingly enough, Trojans receiver Zachariah Branch had his yardage prop climb from 42.5 to 47.5 at Caesars.
I believe the latter move is a mistake, especially when a shop like FanDuel sits at 44.5. Moss and Branch's props are, in a way, correlated, so it’s only a matter of time before Branch’s line moves back down.
Branch has averaged 37.5 receiving yards through two games, but this matchup will limit his big-play ability. I project a stat line in the low 30s for Branch this weekend.
A winning $10 bet will profit $8.26.

Miller Moss longest completion Under 42.5 yards (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Branch’s longest reception is trading at 21.5, which is certainly worth a look.
But I’m betting against Moss’ longest completion eclipsing 42.5 yards. Moss’ longest completion this season was 41 yards against LSU.
He has only hit the Over on this line twice in his career, and I don’t see him doing it for a third time on the road against Michigan’s defensive front.
The Trojans have the 100th-ranked pass block grade in the country, so I expect them to call more quick passes to limit the damage from Michigan’s pass rush.
Best odds: -115 via bet365 | Implied probability: 53.49%
Donovan Edwards Under 57.5 rushing yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐
This weekend, someone in Michigan’s run game must take a back seat.
With Alex Orji as the starting quarterback, the Wolverines will call more designed QB runs, reducing Donovan Edwards or Kalel Mullings' production.
The market leans toward a decrease for Edwards, pushing his rushing yardage prop down from 71.5 to 57.5.
That makes sense to me, as he’s only cleared this mark against Arkansas State. Mullings remains Michigan's superior back, so I’m fading Edwards.
Best odds: -114 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.27%
