I love Jeremiah Smith’s touchdown prop for the Rose Bowl. The outlandishly talented freshman has found the end zone in 10 of 13 games (76.9%), including when he did it as part of a nine-reception, 100-yard game in Eugene in October.

In three games against top 10 opponents this season, Oregon has permitted five total receiving touchdowns to wide receivers. Smith is as good of a bet as a pass-catcher on the Buckeyes roster, and we’re still getting even odds on him to score a touchdown at FanDuel.

That’s where you should be playing this prop as opposed to the watered-down -130 odds at DraftKings.

Though Quinshon Judkins has consistently drawn more carries than TreVeyon Henderson this season, we saw their rushing attempt totals level out to 10 apiece in the CFP matchup against Tennessee.

Henderson has been the far more explosive back, averaging 7.0 YPC on the year. When determining the way to attack Oregon’s defense that just gave up 297 rushing yards to Penn State in the Big Ten Championship, we prefer Henderson’s efficiency, with his yardage prop sitting just a handful of yards higher than Judkins’ line.

But if you believe Oregon’s run defense will struggle mightily again, parlaying both backs Over their rushing total could be an interesting angle.

Tez Johnson Over 75.5 receiving yards

Best odds: -114 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 53.27%

Although the Buckeyes rank as the top pass defense in the nation, I'm expecting Ohio State to score plenty and force Oregon to go to the air frequently.

That’s where we find value on the receiving prop for Oregon receiver Tez Johnson, who went for seven receptions and 75 yards in the first meeting with Ohio State. Johnson cleared this receiving mark in six of his 10 other games this season.

His lines at FanDuel and BetMGM (75.5 yards) hold better value for the Over than the 80.5-yard line posted at Caesars and bet365.
