Did I miss something? Like physical injury? I think it's just some fatigue and him maybe not taking this match as seriously as he needed to after the first two sets.

I'm probably gonna let it ride another round and hope that fukk can keep her head together for once and not have any issues. I know Radwanska is fully capable of beating her, but I had a good vibe on Azarenka heading into this and she's playing damn good tennis ... of course, so is Ag.

Such a ******* mush day first Serena now Djokovic pretty much hands Hewitt a set. What I couldn't really understand was some of those set points djokovic was just putting those balls away with ease but on the deuce court didn't look like doing that. Is the heat really playing this much of a fact on a fit professional athlete? fml.

If she had a normal head, I'd back her to win the whole thing. She's been beasting it up here but there's still that part of me that doesn't trust her. Aggie's tricky obviously but Aza should be able to out power her. If she lets Aggie toy with her though, game over.

It's not all heat. He's playing a guy who's playing his last Slam at home, someone who 99% of people outside of Oz rated no chance, etc... I'm sure he came in with respect but not that much. Combine it all and it's not good conditions for Djoko. You can't just turn it back into overdrive whenever you want against a player like Hewitt. He may not be what he once was but the skills are still there and he has the court awareness to f you.

By far. Absolute legends. I can't even think of anyone else who'd be close. Serena and maybe Kim on the women's side. No one on the men's. These guys will die on the court if they have to. At least you know you never piss your money away if you back them. Doesn't hurt as much if you lose.

Gotta make up my mind early on Clijsters by the by ... not much info on the ankle, but that price will go ape shit once anything leaks and/or is totally FABRICATED by someone. Probably take Kimmy at plus money this morning and buy back something later if needed.

Another match that made me cry

Thought of another one: Sharapova. Shocked I forgot her considering she proved tonight why exactly she should be on that list. Such a dingaling but at least you know she'll try her ass off.

That's all on the women's side. I took Bartoli at massive odds at Fat-oli lived up to those odds. Have DelPo and Rafa on the men's side. Bought Rafa specifically to hedge w/Berdych because I picked that tall flake to go to the finals.

Also going to grab Kvitova @ +175 today. If that ditz loses to Errani, that is the upset of the fukking tournament. Then she matches well with Sharapova in the round after and can hedge with Sharapova although the price on a potential Sharapova-Kvitova match I'm not certain. Should be about a pick 'em, but wondering if the books will dangle Masha as a short favorite to get a lot of action going.

Bartoli, such a disaster. Can't stand her but had so much faith that she'd do well in this one. At least make the QFs. Almost approaching no fly zone for me because I can't figure her out.

If books hang Maria as the fave, Kvitova will get hammered by anyone who's followed even 3 matches lately. Errani losing to Kvitova is basically unthinkable. I can't even fathom how that'd happen barring an injury because even a one legged Kvitova should be able to drill her.

It's a Grand Slam though, fukks like JJ hammer the name they know w/out questioning the line.

Basically I am looking at either Kvitova or Sharapova for a future in the bottom half and I think Kvitova has a markedly easier QF and has already bitch whipped Masha at a Slam. Think she is the better choice and most suited to this surface if her head stays on square.

                                    Australian Open: January 23

Parlay: Bryans + Federer NOT to Win In Straight Sets [+100]
Getting some in early today as I feel the longer the tournament goes, the quicker the lines move now with less for the public to bet on. Bryan Brothers get Matkowski-Fyrstenberg. BB were 4-1 against them last year with the lone loss coming in a super breaker. Bryans are the three-time defending champs here and are chasing the "Woodies" all-time doubles record for Slam Titles. They would break the record with a win in Melbourne and they have said it is a big thing weighing on them to get it done here if they can. The Federer prop I like because I just have a feeling with the conditions and seeing Del Potro at full strength for the first time since his injury comeback [don't think DelPo was quite 100% when they met in 2001], it's a large litmus test for both players. Federer is playing great tennis for sure, but this is the first time he will be tested, likewise for DelPo. I think DelPo has to get his set early because as the match settles in, Federer should find a groove against DelPo's style.

                                    Azarenka-Radwanska Over 21 [-123]
Recent history between these two show very competitive matches on this surface where the last three have all gone three sets. Both have been stout on serve, but when they face each other - seems like both return well and there will be multiple breaks and breaks back throughout the match. I would be pretty surprised if this was a white wash in favor of either girl.

I would be shocked if Maria opens as a favorite. I'd expect Kvitova to be -150 at least.

                                          Adding ...

                                          Clijsters +120
Obviously the only thing preventing most people from going on Clijsters is the status of her ankle. Truly, we won't know until she starts playing how much it is hindering or if it will hinder her at all. For me thought the fact remains that Aussie Kim is the toughest chick in the WTA. Wozniacki is playing well here, but all things being equal ... it's a Slam. It's Wozniacki. It's Clijsters. Mental toughness edge, Clijsters and as we saw against Li, that sometimes can be a bigger factor than on-court game. Woz has the better defense and is being a little more aggressive offensively, but Clijsters still rates better on-serve and with her ground strokes IMO.

Guess Kvitova will be #1 soon.

Rankings are stupid, we know that, but they pay for consistency and Woz consistently goes deep in tournaments and wins a handful each year that earn her pts. That's the system., like it or not.
