Well the under was nice for the Ferrer match. Nice to see Gasquet back in bitch mode. Going to go for a small one on Djokovic-Hewitt Over 26.5. Hardly anyone has won games off Djokovic in two years here, but it's Aussie prime time and Hewitt's last stand. Gentlemen's agreement for a non-blowout? LoL.

I'm just thinking Hewitt keeps one set close at 6-4 hopefully. He'll probably lose at least one in the neighborhood of 6-3, 6-2. Best chance is to get it in the 1st.

Seeing Djokovic vulnerable like this makes me eager to see Ferrer play him in the quarters. Outside of Murray v. Nishikori, I think the quarters are going to be solid. Cannot imagine Nishi having much to offer a fresher Murray after the war he waged against Tsonga.

I never do this but because I'm feeling so stoked about this win tonight (even though it was a total tail of EP and I'd said the other day I was going to take the Hewitt handi which I forgot)... I'm going to gloat for a second. I don't know much but in Melbourne Mama can usually figure it out.

Mats Wilander said on Eurosport that it looked like he gave Hewitt 1 game deliberately at 0-3 in the 3rd, and spoke about a time a player did it for him, and he found out afterwards, and that it happens from time to time, and Nole being a nice guy, didn't want to bagel him. But he just found it extremely hard to up his game straight after.

Nah it's just a bad environment for him. He kept fighting for bp's in that last game. If he were tanking the whole thing, he would've let it go to conserve energy. No way he'd want to take it to 4 here. He'll still win but you don't want to expend unnecessary energy and when having to win 6 more games, instead of 2, it's a big difference. As soon as I checked the weather report and then looked at it for the next day (it's going to be hotter so no cool change tonight), I bloody knew this f'r would drop a set tonight.
