Imagine having 20 years of admirable service under your belt and a 19-year-old with no government experience decides your position is "wasteful."

And now you, at age 50 with two kids who are still in high school, are out of a job despite being a top performer and doing everything right.

I gotta think even Trump supporters are feeling some kind of way about this.

…until they are overturned on appeal .

States suing the federal government from auditing government spending .

          It’s laughable

That kind of atrophy tends to happen when you have bureaucracy on top of bureaucracy. If there wasn't an overreaching federal power laying down the law, the lower levels would shape up no doubt.

                  2) If musk is auditing and identifying junk-spending, props to Musk. Sounds like he can clear out a bunch of this junk-spending.

I don't talk Politics a lot. One honest question as we welcome in the new President:

*Would the Dems have been better served to pick a different candidate?
...I don't pick on anyone. Answering interview questions is tough. You're on the spot.
...I congratulate Harris for becoming Vice-Pres, 2nd highest office in this country. And props for doing it as a female and a minority.
...I just have to think they could have found a better candidate. Someone else would have given Trump a better fight.
...This election was also hugely telling to any candidate trying to run in the anti-Bitcoin sphere. Do so at your own expense. She lost votes by not having a stance on Bitcoin.
Chucky, you sound like a politician yourself with that post...

Can you tell me exactly what Harris ran on other than hating Trump?

Answering questions is tough, yes. However, not answering any questions is not a great game plan if you are trying to win an election into public office.

I do not think her stance on Bitcoin/crypto had anything to do with why she lost. Men competing against women, the border, inflation etc were the major issues and crypto was way down the list of concerns.

I don't think it mattered who the Dems rolled out there TBH...many of the things they tried to normalize under Biden does not jive with many Americans. The country was overdue for some common sense. Just my .02

Hi, Jake. I honestly barely give Politics a thought until the 60 days b4 an election. Everyone has their opinion.

                      1) That's what I'm saying about Harris. She struggled mightily on answering questions.
                      2) I actually do think the Bitcoin angle mattered. Bitcoin backers funded a good portion of Trump's campaign. There was a constituency of one-item voters who were aligned with Trump.
                      3) You don't think Gavin Newsom would have given the Dems a better chance? Had to be > Harris.

Kennedy does have a way of getting to the bottom of the problems. The big problem I have with this, the fake news does not bring up any of these points to so many of the masses. The late night comedy hosts should be having a ball with these payments to foreign countries. Getting the message across about the waste of Americans tax dollars. The nightly news broadcasts, (local ABC, NBC, CBS etc) hide it from the people. They are the ones who should be held accountable for not broadcasting any of it.

                          1. She simply did not answer questions and just gave some jibberish answer if anything at all.

                          2. Maybe it mattered a small amount but many other issues were more important to most.

Biden needed to not run and when he did drop out it was too late. At that time Harris was really the only one that could or would run.

Should of had a primary and stopped the Gaza war before the election.

As always both parties act in the interest of their donors and not the voters. Give the people what they want, and you will win the election.

I would think healthcare, higher min wage, voting rights, the right to join a union, better schools, NSA spying and just better basic rights would be higher than bitcoin on the voters list.

You will never get any of this until you get the money out of politics.

                            Welcome to oligarchy boys.

                            Wake the fuk up.

Judge John Coughenour came out with the following statement after issuing a preliminary injunction on Trumps executive order for ending birthright citizenship.

"It has become ever more apparent that to our president, the rule of law is but an impediment to his policy goals.

The rule of law is, according to him, something to navigate around or simply ignore, whether that be for political or personal gain…

There are moments in the world's history where people look back and ask, ‘Where were the lawyers, where were the judges?" Coughenour said.

"In these moments, the rule of law becomes especially vulnerable. I refuse to let that beacon go dark today."

If it's there, there's a proper legal means to deal with it rather than destroying the institutions he doesn't like and the lives of thousands of honest public servants.
Makes sense considering you haven't looked very hard... it's pretty clear.

This is like Trump's superpower. Finding a bunch of 80-20 issues and getting on the 80 and everybody who is reflexively against him gets on the 20. Now the Democrat Party has a 31% approval rating. This is why!"

The bigger problem is the states not wanting to take accountability. They like to pass the buck. If you just close OHSA tomorrow, the states will be lost and not have enough resources or knowledge. I know this is true on hazmat and probably in other areas also. I worked two spills, on the Tennessee River, both small, state guys said maintain best you can and wait on Feds. Duh, what you think we been doing for the last 6 hours.
