Life IS a trip Jibbby. Thankfully, we each drive our own bus.

CNN mixed up former President Barack Obama and notorious terrorist Osama bin Laden's names in an embarrassing on-air flub on Friday.

Good, if the workers want better safety, join a union and let unioins handle safety in their contracts. It's way more efficient that way.

If those stats are true surely it even makes you go hmmmm.

Has anyone else been saying federal worker safety protections have been so unreasonable that they are hurting business before now?

How have "the people" been convinced to jump so fast to trying to protect business at the expense of "the people"?

Of course we need balance, but sheesh. How are we pricing the worker lives this will inevitably cost.

OH&S seems like such a random target?! Well unless your company is the country's biggest serial offender it's not I guess.

The issue isn't about hurting business, it's about wasting taxpayers' money. Unions would be a much better way to handle worker safety than OSHA. It's way more efficient when you have other employees there on your side that can stop working on the spot if safety isn't up to snuff. Government takes way too long to get involved. You can have an issue with MSHA in N Nevada and it could be days before an inspector showed up.

Read what I wrote. Let his employees unionize, negotiate safety standards, and refuse to work if those aren't met.

As far as federal worker safety protections, they are unnecessary and redundant. Regardless of what is done to OSHA on a federal level, every state has their own OSHA. That's enough. Bureaucracy on top of bureaucracy is wasteful and inefficient.

As far as federal worker safety protections, they are unnecessary and redundant. Regardless of what is done to OSHA on a federal level, every state has their own OSHA. That's enough. Bureaucracy on top of bureaucracy is wasteful and inefficient.

Hey, guys. Hope all is well.

I don't talk Politics a lot. One honest question as we welcome in the new President:

*Would the Dems have been better served to pick a different candidate?
...I don't pick on anyone. Answering interview questions is tough. You're on the spot.
...I congratulate Harris for becoming Vice-Pres, 2nd highest office in this country. And props for doing it as a female and a minority.
...I just have to think they could have found a better candidate. Someone else would have given Trump a better fight.
...This election was also hugely telling to any candidate trying to run in the anti-Bitcoin sphere. Do so at your own expense. She lost votes by not having a stance on Bitcoin.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Not all workers have a choice to join a union. Whether they are smart enough to know they need safety or not, we want them to be safe.

It sure is more efficient. But there are so many dumbasses, that want vote for unions, mostly from bad information and/or fear of the company getting them back somehow. That said, not all unions are the same. Some are definitely better than others.

So, anything new or updates needed they would be lost. Also, they do a poor job with updates and almost always refer you to the Fed. So, in my personal experience depending on the state only would be a mistake.

The food was supposed to be delivered to various destinations where people are STARVING.

But it can't be shipped because Trump/Musk shut down USAID.
