Jibbby, there was a reason that everyone I knew growing up including myself were all told by their parents to never talk publicly about religion or politics. Seems to end up a break even or lose proposition with family and friends.

I probably would have ended up voting Trump/Biden/Trump in the last three elections if I was there btw. Although this time I may not have voted at all in protest at the clown show of candidates.

Much better result, so far, than what could have happened.

But it's not about winning one battle, it's about the war, and don't underestimate the damage that has been done.

As just one example, how many mining companies in Canada are now sitting around board tables forced to face the fact they need to reduce reliance on US sales. Not a political opinion. Just a business reality that is now inarguable for them.

I could go on with a bunch more examples. But you get the drift.
