As is now obvious, foreigners are not welcome in America.
These people were granted visas for the work they were doing in creating industry and jobs for America.

I hope that organisations like FIFA and the IOC are paying close attention to the current administration's mood towards visitors and ditch the US parts of their programs for 2026 and 2028.

If the police murdered Charlie Kirk, you would have bought a plane ticket to the. US and you would be rioting in the streets and you know it.

I was making an example of how equality and equity are different because you seem to think they are the same thing.

I know the history on Pilgrim thanks for your post regarding them. I also know the history of Native Indians. Native Indians also Lied, cheated, stole, murdered even little children.

Native American tribes fought each other for reasons like resource competition, territory, revenge, and cultural practices long before European contact, as well as during the colonial era. The notion of widespread tribal harmony before European arrival is a myth; conflict was a normal aspect of intertribal relations, just as it was among other human groups. Warfare involved various strategies, from large-scale raids to smaller-scale conflicts, with motivations and practices differing by region and tribe.

    Reasons for Tribal Warfare
    • Resources:
Tribes often competed for scarce resources, such as arable land and hunting grounds, leading to conflict in both sparsely populated and developed areas.
    • Revenge and Honor:
Traditional grievances, such as the deaths of family members or injuries to tribal honor, could trigger widespread conflicts, often called mourning wars, where vengeance was a primary goal.
    • Cultural & Religious Reasons:
Warfare was intertwined with cultural beliefs and spiritual practices, and success in battle could bring personal esteem and war honors.
    • Captives and Adoption:
Capturing individuals in conflict was a common practice, with captives often adopted into families to restore numbers and integrate into the community, though this could also lead to blood feuds.
    • Territory:
Tribes sometimes fought to expand their territories, such as the Lakota migrating westward and displacing other tribes like the Omaha.

The claim that 200,000 American citizens die each year from gun violence is inaccurate
. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that 46,728 people died from gun-related injuries in the United States in 2023.

Key facts from the 2023 CDC data:
    • Total deaths: 46,728 people died from gun-related causes.
    • Leading cause for youth: Firearms remained the leading cause of death for young people ages 1–17.
    • Suicides: The majority of gun deaths were suicides, accounting for 27,300 deaths (58% of the total).
    • Homicides: Gun homicides made up a significant portion of the remaining deaths, with 17,927 in 2023.

In the United States, 40,901 people died in motor vehicle crashes in 2023

Estimates for the number of crimes prevented by guns annually vary widely, from tens of thousands to over 2 million, due to different survey methods and definitions of defensive gun use (DGU). For example, while a 1994 survey found 1.9 million instances of people retrieving a firearm due to a threat, other research, such as that based on the National Crime Victimization Survey, suggests a much lower figure of around 60,000 to 108,000 DGUs per year

Might as well make things much more difficult all around, because you're not going to outlaw guns altogether.
How did the prohibition on the ban of all alcohol sales work out a century ago?
Not very well, the only ones who got filthy rich were the mobsters.

The same applies to one who wants/needs a gun, for whatever reason; that person will find a gun, most likely from not very reputable sources.

Between 2022 and 2025, the Biden Admin used parole status to allow entry into the US by more than 500,000 Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans.

The Trump Admin. terminated parole for all of them 60 days after he took office.

A district judge in Massachusetts said that such terminations had to be a on a case-by-case basis -- so more than 500,000 separate decisions.

First Circuit said, "Nope, en masse terminations are within DHS Sec. discretion.”

A case by case basis . Lol

Another district overturned by a Court of Appeals.

For Dwight Shrute and Guitar Josh:

Citing Utah state records, the Associated Press is reporting that while Robinson is a registered voter, he's not registered as a Republican or a Democrat (or a member of any other political party). Robinson is also listed as "inactive" on the Utah voter rolls, according to the AP, meaning he did not vote in the last two general elections (at least). His parents are both registered as Republicans.

Beyond these basic facts, other claims circulating online — that Robinson was photographed in a Democratic Socialists of America shirt; that he donated to President Trump's 2020 campaign; that he was photographed in a Trump shirt; that he is registered as a Republican — have been debunked.

Talking about DEI…. Here’s what someone local said.

the Doge folks actually used keyword searches—including DEI—in selecting employees to cull. It’s anecdotal, but there is at least a demonstrated correlation between workers who attended DEI trainings and workers who were summarily fired. I heard a couple of sacked-employee interviews, and they were pretty upset bc they had some reason to believe they were singled out bc they had attended a DEI training—a training that was MANDATORY under Trump’s first administration. Incidentally, they were also both Black.

So, have those folks used employee information to specifically tweeze out ppl based on personal characteristics instead of relevant factors, like seniority, performance and role? Hard to say yet. If I knew a bookie and I could actually place a bet on this, would I. Absolutely.

Also, in case anyone missed it, there are 8 Joint Chiefs in DOD. One white woman, one Black man, and 6 white men. Two of them were unexpectedly and inexplicably fired, given their reputations, many accomplishments, service records and commendations. Guess which two?

I suspect that when it starts to shake out, we’ll see some reporting on a noticeable pattern in firings that isn’t going to be particularly easy to explain away. I mean if the workforce were drop from e.g. 22% minority to 8%, or 40% women to 25% women, that’s gonna be a tough case to defend. ⚖️

Also, even those Doge folks who are allegedly “brilliant,” made some comically awful mistakes, so there’s the possibility they were too dumb to effectively cover their digital tracks.

Trump confused Armenia with Albania during a Friday interview on Fox News. “I ended wars that were thought to be unsolvable. Azerbaijan and Albania. It went on for many, many years,”

Joe Biden said Hamas when he meant Hezbollah and it was proof that he was a cognitively declined vegetable.

Trump does something like this basically every day to complete silence.

Shooting people with a gun has been Normalized in this country. It is pretty normal for a young white boy to go shoot up a school. Of course these boys are mentally ill but they are just regular kids that have been driven by, hate, fear and radical ideas. Violence is normal in this country. Kirk was yesterday. An hour later, 3 more people were shot, murdered in a school in Denver. Do you even know who they were? Nobody really cares because it is normal. We all say we care that Kirk was killed but it’s a big, fat lie. We won’t do shit to stop this from happening again and again. It’s easy to blame, left or right but this is Americas gun problem. We use guns when we disagree, when we are mad, or we just don’t like someone and the society is just fine with it.

Why work if we can get it for free from those that have plenty. So they begged but eventually they either starved to death or started to work their land. Some ended up stealing. You get my point. That's equality and equity.
I own a couple of companies. I employ who I want. I also help companies hire people. Some are private, others get government funding. The ones that work with government cannot discriminate based on several factors. But private companies do it all the time. They can hire who they want, when they want and can be biased against anyone. If you owned a bakery, you could hire whoever you want to bake your cookies. But I would advise you as I do companies that diverse companies perform better. I can show you statistics. Why wouldn’t you hire someone that can speak Spanish in your bakery, especially if you have a lot of Spanish speaking customers. If you had a lot of Italian, French, whatever speaking, doesn’t it make sense to cater to your clientele? but it is your call, not mine, nor the government.

Government hiring has always been merit based - hiring managers have not been allowed to consider factors related to any protected class such as gender, race, disability, or religion in hiring outside of a very few exceptions. Some examples are Veterans Preference, Vet Spousal Preference, Schedule A, and agency specific preferences (for example the Bureau of Indian Affairs is required to give priority to Native Americans for certain positions). Unqualified minorities are not being hired into positions they don’t deserve. That is a myth. In areas where there is underrepresented classes, say not enough men or women, there are volunteer opportunities to encourage men or women or ethnic group to apply.
