I'm a registered Republican, correct, not an over-the-top fan of Trump.
There's a lot I like about Trump, and there's a lot I dislike about Trump.
I like his border policies, but I don't want his health care policies.
One last time, I come from a military background; my dad was a 30-year career military engineer, and he was a Truman democrat.
Even though I wasn't born yet, I'm an Eisenhower Republican who lines up with our Governor, Ned Lamont, these days.

The difference between you and me (and there are more than one) is that I don't vote up and down the party line.
I'm not brainwashed, I'm capable of an original thought.

I'm fully aware of the differences between socialism and communism; from my POV, both pretty much go hand in hand.
