Agreed 100%.. Camera's every where, DNA testing is better then ever today..

Although when you kill complete strangers in the dark of night and your DNA is not in the system yet you can still get away with it for a while I think.. If you kill hookers and street people on drugs that helps as those are unwanted throw away people, they don't matter all that much to law enforcement also..

Ted Bundy would be my favorite. Aside from killing people, everything else about his life was top notch. He was good looking, smart, well spoken. I think virtually all of his victims would willingly go with him wherever he asked because they thought they were going to bang. Even one of the girls that got away from Bundy willingly got in his car (when Bundy was a complete stranger and just drove up), and thought they were headed to some mountain to make out. Then the girl thought Bundy was joking when he said "Now, I'm going to kill you". He starts trying to squeeze her neck and she still thinks it's a joke, then finally gets out of the car and runs away. He also had not 1, but 2 prison escapes and was able to hide out long enough the 2nd time to kill some more people.

Bundy was probably the most "normal" serial killer of all time. Most of the other guys had some type of freak, fetish, outcast. Bundy was a good enough public speaker, and had enough charisma he could have easily been a successful politician.

I saw the Ted Bundy bio shows recently that were on Cable... Went deep into his character.. He was an insecure little worm of a guy.. Cried in his cell liked a little girl when caught and locked up.. His lawyer confirmed all this.. A loser that sought out attention in public to feel worthy then after...

He put on a show when the camera was on him, but a total different guy behind the scenes when locked up.. He knew what he was doing was wrong but did it anyways.. Dude was a weasel of a man that killed young girls.. Glad he's gone and done today..

It’s a movie based on a book written by one of Dhamer’s High School friends.

Dalmer seemed like the most normal cerebral serial killer more then anyone else.. He was open and honest after the fact... Well spoken, good childhood, just had the urge to be gay and kill young gay black men... I felt sorry for his father that seemed very normal..

Dalmer even admits he had a good childhood.. His mother did experience serious mental illnesses though.. Sure that factored into it..

Yeah the movie wasn’t all that great if you’re expecting gruesome stuff of when he was actually killing people but it was a pretty accurate depiction of the book it was based on and I thougnt the acting was good. It painted a decent picture of what dahmer was like pre serial killer I thought... but still not all that entertained by that part of his story

Theirs plenty of guys in jail that are serious psychopaths and got caught early on.I know of two good friends that were murdered,both guys were caught within a year,so really most arent very clever.

If you aren’t going to make distinctions between serial killers, but instead killers in general....I’d say Pablo Escobar and Roy Demeo were up there as far as gang killers. Albert Anastasia as well.
