And in Houston, it is the super-sized everything. I flew into town to see Sammy Sosa's last game in his 66 HR season (I had seen game #161 in St. Louis and had just watched Mark McG hit his 67th and 68th while sitting in the right field seats...what an unreal feeling, being in those seats and being one of the few people in the world with a serious shot at catching that ball).
At the Astrodome I was served the BIGGEST plate of 'ballpark nachos' I have ever seen....also the best, and it was served by the BIGGEST women I have ever seen in my life....all black, all well north of 350....they were super nice, but I have never seen anything like that before.
I will also say....that night I ordered Domino's pizza.....and it was the best cheap pizza I have ever eaten....the food down there is so damn yummy.Comment -
