this dude on CNN is a fukking moron saying if you run as a felon(non-convicted in this case) it's ok to shoot(legally? it may be), however... if that was the case, there would be a shittload of police action shootings and wounded innocent citizens (due to wrong place wrong time)
the use of a firearm is supposed to be the LAST option, if Mike was reaching in the car, he couldn't have just pulled forward, called for back up, circled back around???

Cops here waited for calm, released the robbery and name info and I'm sure over the weekend we'll get access to the medical record of the cop and possibly dashboard footage.

Unfortunately this event has already sunk to the usual broader race debates and not focused on what actually happened. There are clear police brutality cases, the Cali cop who beat that lady senseless on the side of the road last month....and there are clear cut cases of cops being targeted on the streets in certain neighborhoods.....they all need to be looked at on a case by case basis. Just because brown was black and the cop was white, thats all thats been focused on here so it's hard to get the facts through. I'm still hearing the pundits on the news gloss over the robbery, gloss over the fact that Dorian is involved in it...and still sticking to the original narrative that Brown was just walking and was profiled and then saying 'ok so he robbed a store, ok he assaulted the owner, ok he was legally stopped now and not just out of the blue...and ok there was a struggle...but does a pack of cigarillos warrant a murder of a black teen.

I say no, but an assault on a police officer sure does.
