With that Detroit hit too, feels like we had it right and it's good to see them hit.

Tough to determine when that market will shift and give the public some wins, hopefully we stay sideways or better through it and get these 6 or 7 positive units up to 10 or 12.

Yesterday's Texas at +200 would have really made a difference at this point in getting us to the next level.

Worried about St. Louis tonight, but at least I hit Atlanta again LIVE when they were down 1-0. Risky behavior but just like Colorado today, and Texas as well, those plays just outside the Contrarian Fund are still hitting. Not just looking good, but winning too.

These first two weeks are always one market winning, then a sudden shift. We need all the units we can get before the market turns.

And just like that the market starts to flip. St. Louis coming back, bringing the OVER, and the Cubs retaking the lead.

Not surprised it happens with a half hour to go for the next two games.

Late run by the Dodgers pushes that game OVER the Total and kills the SF runline. Other plays outside the Contrarian Fund target are mixed but this marks that first sign the market is turning, or even turned.

With CHW and Det winning, the market was smooth for us early, the day slowly shifted. I was worried about Pitt, a Fund play, failing and blowing the lead, and St. Louis completed the comeback...

Not only did the SF/LAD game turn to pay the other, non-contrarian, side all around, but Boston scoring that extra run late over Oakland not only brought the over, paying that "public" side, but the Boston win, and runline cover, does the same.

Think about that.

See what happened here Doves? Wednesday was hump day for the markets and it is only when one can accept what they bring that he or she can truly appreciate how they bring it.

It only gets tougher from here and the cat and mouse game of market flow has only begun.

But just what makes a market a contrarian or public market? Can they sometimes be both? A lot of factors go into the contrarian fund and I think analyzing them individually to see what kind of up or down market they are reversing into is the a good way to go.

I think I have a way mine some data to produce historical graphs and get them up to date. Parameters need to be set and again, volume must overlay. Perhaps a heat map, maybe one with the disposition of the teams in regards to the market in color and volume in size..

So here we go. An early test on just where the market is bouncing.

WASH is an early contrarian side and given the market turn midday and last night, I would not be surprise if today was different than yesterday.

In other words, we could lose the early contrarian side instead of win like yesterday. It also means that the might not be a market turn and we could see the contrarian side, with few exceptions, fail all day.

In a stock style chart, imagine the contrarian side running up, then topping, with a little sideways the a small downturn (yesterday), then the follow up selling off today.

Hopefully, there is no selling off and we stay sideways and survive until the next upswing and we do that most of the season.

What I'm saying is that this early WAS play could be in trouble. The one factor I see in it's favor is that the early bird can tend to get the worm, but the volume was pushing a 16 rating here, which means the market is pretty active early.
