The sharp forecast has Houston beating San Antonio 113-106. The public gauge says Houston wins 111-107.
The spread is tight here and right with the numbers, opening at the gauge and moving toward the forecast.
The Total seems a bit low considering both numbers and the public appetite for the Overs on this game and I believe the books have the number at just the right point to trigger Over bets by the more valid number directed bettors.
Combine that with the public and getting an Over of that opening line of 216 may be tough to get. If it does go Over, we might just see 217 points in the game.

The sharp forecast says Golden State beats Utah 106-104. The public gauge has Golden State winning 106-99.
The line opened between the numbers and has shown pressure towards the gauge. The Total is the same situation and both cases have public support…GS and the Over, no surprise there.
Metrics continue to point to a drought on underdogs despite the appearance of value on some of the recent underdog lines. As the only game today, I would not be surprised if the forecast is successful against the spread but, given the current environment, the favorite makes more sense.

Like Golden State, the Cavaliers are attracting money and the Over. The agreement on these numbers continue one of the only aspects I’ve been writing about…that the market will see a higher rate of favorites over the near term. That’s exactly what we’ve seen and I think the markets have the numbers on one side to help ease the burden as the public will likely continue hitting with, at the very least, the favorite winning the game.
