When Joe Johnson came to the Nets I used to watch him a lot (Nets were considered a local team in these paerts so I got every Knicks and Nets games)
Joe Johnson is a professionals professional.
Class act, plays the game right, doesn't beat or cheat on his wife, doesn't go to bars with loaded guns, doesn't drink with a 'posse', just a real class act.

Plus Gordon Heywood is likeable too.
I bet Gordo has to beat the women off with a stick.
He comes across like a dude that gets laid on demand.

The sharp forecast says Toronto beats Cleveland 105-100. The public gauge has Cleveland winning 109-105.

I mentioned sometime back that Toronto would do well this playoffs and that the early blowout they endured could be the best thing to happen to them. Now here they are in a position to knock of Cleveland, and are even predicted by the forecast on the road in game 1.

Note that I rarely, if ever, talk about the future of a team like I did with Toronto.

The sharp forecast has San Antonio beating Houston 108-105. The public gauge has SA winning 111-105.

This game is tight and little value is to be had. You may notice that in the lack of a lot market movement, but now you can see why in the more meaningful numbers.

The line opened between the two of them indicating a small position on the bookies to the Houston side. Isnt this a trigger signal to buy Houston or it is so tin of a value that a pass its worth more than any other option?

Not only fade, but dry posts as well.

I felt value was thin there, but a great point. I haven't really been trading the NBA right now and so those post have been real thin and, even when there is analysis, I haven't been posting it.

I’ve failed the thread with this lack of NBA write-ups and just posting the forecasts. When the lines are tight like this, we can turn to money flow. Money flowed, for example, yesterday and was well split among groups. In retrospect, it was a teaching moment.

You were right about the line and an opportunity was probably missed from a riskier trading perspective.

I'll try to get better about more than the forecast, that's what the point of posting the forecast is anyway. I've been a little laid back since the NCAA basketball.

And yes, in the NBA, variance can be a bitch...a real bitch.
