At least I got second. WOuld have been worse if I would have been the short stack.

I would've played it in very much the same way. Not much you can do there.

Unrelated note:

On that one final table, excluding the 10 hands or so I missed when I lost Internet, I saw three pretty longshot straights hit. Could've been more I didn't see.

I was going to be annoyed if Fishhead won, especially.

I'm going to be out of this fast. Played well only to keep having this rediculous software screw me. My Set was rivered by runner runner flush. My flopped straight to runner runner flush. My flopped two pair to a straight on the river.

My luck *might* be turning, as I've made top 10 3 straight days. Unfortunately I got 8th, 10th , and 9th in those days. I also only won about 3 hands in each of them.

I was talking to some people at the final table, and assuming my estimate of 1600 to make team USA is right, I actually still have a ~35% chance to make it. Maybe I gave up too early.

So Zammer just pulled a suck out on me. I had J4 which I limped with, he had j5. The flop came J47, he bet- 300, the next guy called, I repopped it to 900 showing strength. Zam called, the guy folded. Down comes a second 7. I bet the river. Zam took half my stack on a suck out. NO BUSINESS Calling and the guy gets a suck out. J5 really?

Come on Zammers man With the full spectrum of hands I could of had an Over Pair, a J with a better kicker *(Highly Likely), or two pair *(which I did). I never repop much less light. You played it badly sir . Truthfully the River call might of been the only decent play.

Your 900 wasn't enough to show strength on the flop when we were both carrying high card Jacks... at least not at these tables. If you had an overpair, I would have guessed you call or shove. Granted you did have 2 pair on the flop, your reraise was worth additional 600 chip call. Not sure why you raised the river with 7's on the board... assuming you knew I had a Jacks or better and you then had low card 4.

had two clubs, one a king. Three clubs come on flop. I slow play it, but call the bets. People keep raising. Two others in the hand. Had both easily beat, but one guy had AK (clubs/spades) and caught another club on the river. Ughhhhhh
