I'd play at 8 but unfortunately I'm going offline shortly thereafter.

You've been qualified for the tourney for at least a couple weeks now, I remember seeing your name on the list a while back. I shoulda joined the poker contest this month, already picked up a couple 2nd place finishes.

well busted out 6th, (really hate getting this far and not making final three as I need a few more points to feel better about my Ryder cup chances)

Pushed about 10k chips with KJ of clubs(blinds already 6-1200 and table was very tight) Get called by AJ off and flop J with two clubs. NO help and Im gone.

This is correct. And while you do have to deposit $200 to become pro its not like this money goes to SBR. It is yours to gamble with.

roberson this is a separate tourney that is put together and joined voluntarily by posters... has no relations to SBR or WSOP tourney on the 25th. Also if you become Pro you also will recieve more points for posting and loggin on everyday which allow you to play more poker here as well as some other very nice perks. Look into it if you haven't done so already.

Another day, another lousy tournament. I got very little all game and tried to make a move in 15th place with 18 left, instead of waiting to be blinded to death. I raised from folded to late position with J10 (only my 3rd raise all game) and of course get called by the "monster" K5. KJx flop, no improvement from there. Argh. I am beginning to think I really might not get a top 3 this month.

there was this moron called kickenchicken who was putting bad beat everybody. At least 7 times he was 3-1 dog and won, while I was at a table with him.
