For the Ryder Cup, they are measuring only top 3 (i.e. the places that get paid). Essentially they are adding up all of your won points in the satellites and if you are in the top 8 of your geography (i.e. US, Canada, Europe, World), you are in.

worst tournament since I started playing SBR poker ... finished 20th/51 and my best hands were a 66, a A9 unsuited and a QJ suited ... with first 2 I went all-in to steal some blinds and stay in the game for so long

Well, I think its time for me to run cold deck for a while, Finish 7th in 3pm. Short stacked with 2800 in big blind. Blinds at 200 -400. Have a 6 3 and flop come 4 5 6 two hearts. Push 2400 at 1100 pot and get insta called with someone holding an A 8 off(but one heart) Runner Runner heart and Im gone.

10 doesn't matter its only top 3 with a heavy bias towards 1st.

teams for usa, canada, world, and europe

each team has 8 players plus one alternate

qualifying is based on how well you do in WSOP qualifiers. I think 1st is 500, 2nd is 250, 3rd is 100? Something like that. So you have to earn points by placing top 3 and work your way up.

It's extremely difficult to make the US team due to all the US players.

Haha sorry bro, they will be going to pizzas before I'm done. I might still play here and there sometime but with July looking like only for the ryder cup thing, it would be a good time to just step away until it's fun again.

I noticed a mistake DS

I'm not winning this thing. Don't worry I'll correct that later today. I just keep making the mistake of playing the early one while the rest of you play the soft fields of 30-40 players.

Well Crippled early in 3pm

On button in limped around pot with K 4 of hearts(Blind 15-30). SEveral limpers so I call. Flop comes K 4 2 (two spades) First to act bets 100, second min raises to 200. I push 2400 at 450 pot. The min raise calls and shows K 5. Turns an Ace, Rivers a three.

This is getting very tough.
