Finished 2nd in the 10pm tonight. I should have played smarter but the guy kept pushing all in and this time he had QQ. I called with 22 after the low stack called hoping I could maybe catch him bluffing
Stupid move on my part. I needed that win to help with Ryder cup but at least I got some points and added some here too.

Well my month of frustration is complete. I get to the final table table needing a 2nd place to make the Ryder team. Win a few hands and suddenly I'm in first with a decent cushion. I have AK and raise it up 4 (not small) bbs; 1 caller. Flop comes A 10 7. I allin and get called my 89o, who rivers a J. The tard called of half his stack preflop with garbage and pulled a miracle. That puts me approximately tied for 1st. It gets down to 5 with no significant difference between the 5 and suddenly things tighten up beyond belief. Tighest final 5 I've ever seen, including big money tournaments. Guy goes out 5th with AQ vs JJ and things stay super tight. Blinds are goign up and everyone is down to around 5bbs. I allin 99 and get called by A7s (diamonds). WTF he was thinking, I have no idea, as I guarantee based on the play that no one allined anything A7 wasn't dominated by the whole time. No A, 1 diamond on the flop. diamond turn, diamond river. Unfucking believable.
I've made ~15 final tables and am out. Carseller has made 4 or 5 and is currently in. If he makes it, I will literally puke.
P.S. The 99 hand was the third allin bad beat I took, while giving none. In fact, the first one was AKs vs. A7o. Guess I'm cursed by A7.Comment -

yo ds, just found a mistake... post 329 on page 10, i won the tourny, should be earning 11 points but instead i only received 10 (42 - 52) as far as i know 10th place gets 1 point and 9th gets 10. So please add a point to the 4 points i earned today at 8 pm please

alot of work and very time consuming to maintain stats and much thanks to Downsouth for doing so. I believe he is also losing quite a few points due to rake. Anyone cashing needs to be sure to kick back a few.

Well my dream of making the Ryder team is officially over. I got 43s in the blinds, unraised, and catch a dream flop - 356 with 56 being of my suit. I'm favored over 98% of all hands, but unfortunately ran into 66. Even so, I have 43% to win, but it wasn't meant to be. The turn and river were both 4s, so I actually ended up going out with a full house.
I guess that's what I get for going 1-3 heads up (final 2). Sad thing is, I'm actually a HU specialist in cash, so I know my advantage was huge all 4 times. That, and being in the USA, of course. I had enough points for 2nd in any other division.
I do, however, take solace in the fact that Carseller got bubbled out of the Ryder team. He actually had enough for 1st on some teams.
