busted at level 600/1200

didnt have much in the way of cards got to about 25k high point

got wittled down to 13k shoved 22 at 500/1000 (less than a minute left in level) from the hijack and bb had ak turn a

down to 3k won with a8 v k5 from the big blind against the small blind

got to to 8500 had a2 suited in the big blind same guy shoves and has q2 suited, he flops a flush draw rivers a queen

I was the bubble boy (45th place) shoved 18k a8 suited from the cutoff at 1250 2500 blinds button had me covered barely and called with 77 (small blind had about 20k and big blind had 12k behind)

I really had jack shit this whole tournament, at least I had a few hands on Monday. I think you could fold the a8 suited there if you want to make the money, but that's an easy shove if you want a chance to win the tournament. I would have increased my stack by about 40% with antes if I get 3 folds.

Thanks average about 1000 during the week and 3000 on Sunday.

Ugh first hand I misplayed.

Had j9 suited flopped an open ended, guy flopped top 2 with q10 and hit a runner runner flush.

he bet the flop i call turn he checks i bet he raised i call river is the k of hearts he shoves i call.

I really thought he had a set on the turn and all of my outs were clean or I would have folded to the turn check raise.

Had it up to 30k lost 2 races in about 5 minutes:

a10 v 99 (400/800 blinds) and aq v jj (500/1000 blinds)

would have had 50k with the first one and 28k with the second

Busted at 250/500 shoved k10 from the button into kk small blind.

I was low because of this hand:

125/250 bb with a10 of clubs cutoff opens to 750. I call. Heads up.

Flop 1086 rainbow (8c)

I check call 1250.

Turn 5 completes rainbow.

I check guy shoves all in for 7400 into like 4400. I think and call, he has Qk and rivers a queen.

Really didn’t have any reads on him but I expect to be ahead most of the time in that spot. Worse 10s, air, maybe a crappy 2 pair or jj qq is his range IMO.

I had about 3k after and was scrambling.

Ended up 36th (49.05 cash)

Probably had more interesting hands today than the first 5 days combined.

Still have not had anywhere near 45k (which is usually the average stack when they start paying). I have topped out at about low 30s.

Got a complete gift with qq when i min raised under the gun (6 handed for this hand) at 500/1000 with about 14000 chips. BB shoves 11k with all others folding and has qj.

Pretty much card dead after that aside from another qq hand when I busted a low stack right before the money (less than 2 big blinds).

Ended up getting it in against a massive 100k stack when he raised to 7500 at 1250 2500 from middle position and I had aq in the small blind (allin for about 12k). He had qj and turned and rivered a jack to bust me.

Just busted out. Got it in a limp pot early with 95 hearts on a 7810j board against just a 9 and rivered the flush. Pretty much dwindled out after that. Had the worst cards I had by far on any day. Ended up shoving with kq hearts UTG for 5800 at 400/800 blinds a low stack with 3500 calls with 10j and BB wakes up with AK flop ace game over. Had AK and JJ once both uncontested raise and take down preflop. Usually I would never get that low but lots of really bad starting hands and always action before me if I was on the second half of the table.

30/60 blinds i open to 120 with black aces in UTG +1 (9kish stack)

next player makes it 600

folds to me and the software freezes

utg limps utg+1 makes it 300 utg+2 makes it 900 i got kk

since i have position i decide to just flat call

utg+1 stays flops a107 utg+2 bets like 1900 and gets called by utg+1

turn 7 they get it in aq vs a2

river king

Don't see any scenario where I get to see that king

5th place at the break

First time Ive had chips about 70k

What got me going was a shove from the small blind with j2 at 500 1000 when I had just 8200, bb called with 28 (no idea how i was ahead here TBH) and jack high won. Ironically, this was the same guy from the aces hand earlier.

at 2000/4000 raised aj to 8000 in middle position guy shoves 25k next to me, was about right on the line for me and he had ak.

pretty card dead after, i ended up shoving 20k at 3/6k blinds on the button with k10 bb had a lot of chips and called with 78 suited, turned the flush

Best pair was 88 and best unpaired hand was aj, which i busted on at 500/1000. hijack makes it 2500, i shove for about 6500 from the cutoff (average is like 21000), 44 holds.

Had AA second hand and won a small pot after I got 3 bet by the button preflop.

Got a complete gift early when a guy had king7 and gave me all his chips on a 257q6 rainbow board

won a big race with 10s vs kq

that was about it until right before the money the deck ran me over for a couple levels although i did lose with ka to 99 when he shoved and i called in the big blind (would have put me at 70k with 1k/2k blinds)

then the bubble took forever

got my worst beat of the tournament when someone shoved 20k at 2500/5000 and i came over the top (had 25k) with ak of spades he had 78

flop was aqs3s then running 7

(would have had about 65k)

i was in desperation mode got a couple lucky wins where i had to stay in

got up to 36k and shoved with k10 at 3000/6000 big stack called with 44 flopped an open ender but 44 held and I busted

Going to do a quick update after 10 buyins

30 more buyins minimum (this will be easy)
1 win (not even close so far)
4 final tables (had 2 realistic chances up to now IMO)
3 cashes, going for a minimum of 10 (really think I could have made it on 7 of the 10 buy ins so far with one more hand won)

down 156.26 (trying to win 600)

I feel good so far. Lots of chances at early chips with horrendous play during the early levels for the most part. It does seem like they should cut registration earlier because the play is really getting bogged down with low stacks coming in 20 spots before the pay. I have yet to win a significant hand after payouts have started, so I don't see the stats getting much worse any time soon.
