Is bigorange the poker room monitor?

Some of you are missing the point of a short buy in

It's the same idea behind a parlay or making one pass line bet with full odds at a craps table. You risk a little trying to build it in to something big. Now I'm sure the house (or players like bigorange who like to accumulate huge stacks and run people over) would love for you to risk more against them, but too bad. I'm not there to hit and run, I'm there to build it in to 1000.

Buying in short doesn't ruin or slow down the game, it frustrates big stacked players who can't then intimidate you. To that I say....wahhhh!

I have already stated that if 2 big stacks want play heads up without me jumping in they only have to politely ask. He didn't do that, he told me what I should buy in for and then sat out. So now what's left is bigorange's behavior at more full tables or when he is alone at a table. Numerous times he has been sitting at a table alone with 1500 or 2000 and refused to play when I min buy in, most recently calling me a roosterlicker for daring to buy in for that amount.

The key words are "choose to play". SBR has set who, what stakes, and what buy ins, not him. Him making that kind of statement makes him sound like he thinks he IS the poker room monitor. Sit out, fine, but acting sanctimoniously noble about it is obnoxious.

it'll pass and he'll stop barking out orders to you in due to time..... for now, just ignore him.... if you click the buyin button and sbr lets you on the table, play and have a good time..... if anyone has a problem with you being there, they can leave.... don't sweat it.....

He busted me heads up, then refused to play me when I rebought, choosing to sit out when i came back in, even though he was sitting there ready to play. Just because you like him or have a good history with him doesn't mean this didn't happen.

This happened a little while ago. he did it twice, once when I just busted and immediately rebought, and then when I came back a few minutes later and he was ready to play but sat out again

Honestly I agreed with you that BigOrange should just wear it that a free poker site is full of lots of nit players that are going to think the same way you did about how to buy in there.
