It's negative. So how do I get someone to pay me to take their oil? I think I'm going to go to my gas station, fill 'er up and then ask for my payment.

Really my option on that should be way higher than 3-1. But I'll take it. My 100 points to your 300. Deal?

14:46 ET - US benchmark oil prices fall by the most ever, tumbling first to just one cent a barrel before turning negative and ending the session at -$37.63/bbl. That means investors would be paid to take delivery of WTI oil at the hub in Cushing, Okla. "Cushing is landlocked and stocks look likely to be full within 3 weeks," says Chris Midgley at S&P Global Platts. "This will make it increasingly difficult to deliver crude into the WTI contract. This weekend saw the price of WTI futures crash as traders had to sell long positions to avoid being caught having to deliver physical oil into the contract when there is no storage available."

Ya think!? This an entire headline and article. Like something out of The Onion. Not even sure which billionaire.

'World is more screwed up' than market is reflecting, billionaire investor warns

Could be a seriously ugly final hour here with key support levels breached. As the unnamed billionaire says....wtf.

Next real support is 2,760. Could happen fast.

Lot of earnings reports today and this week. Let's see what they say. I would expect warnings like crazy. For the obvious reasons, and beyond that I would double and triple warn to be "safe" and to create room for future upside surprise. Everything sucks this quarter and next for everyone so why sugar coat it. Say it's horrible and position to say "hey it wasn't that horrible because we rock."

It's a chance to but an option that comes due at 230 tomorrow.

The problem is, you're going to get a phone call at 231 asking where u want it delivered....WTF you gonna do.

Probably will see a lot of forecast withdrawing. Nobody wants to be wrong and proven too optimistic. Take everything with grains of salt.

I bough XLE (energy ETF) which is basically XOM and CVX.

i could see buying xom at 30, but at 40 when oil prices and the outlook is worse than it was a month ago? still probably cheap on a long-term basis but you're not stealing it

Straight down after breaking that 2760 support. Really not much support until 2630 or so, although I doubt that happens today.

What's weird is that the virus news has actually improved the last couple of days versus last week which was worse. Still too early to breathe easy.

I did get stopped out of Tesla, and I'm thinking of going short on it although the nasdaq has a way of holding up this stock I think. It is really worth maybe $150 on a good day, so this may be a long term short play for me. At least it could develop into a long play anyway. Still short XLF and that is starting to work for me, and picking up Boeing when it dips below $125. I see they are really trying to pump up Boeing but they just can't keep any momentum for short term buying of this stock. If you get some be prepared to hold for 5 + years before you sell.
