#358JM sent out an e-mail listing Cinci as a C Bet.
He should think seriously about changing his system to direct bettors to buy points to 3.5, 7.5, 10.5 and 14.5. Beyond that the various possible scorelines become too complicated.

#360mitchp, the pending mod system "series result" is Houston, which will be a B Bet next weekend.
Washington is not a series (no chasing) and is also pending a result tonight.

i dont get it, if houston , tennessee, and kansas city have lost 2 SU and ATS then shouldnt they be a potential JM original system POTENTIAL plays for week 12?
since after this week if they lose SU and ATS they will both have lost 3 SU and 3 ATS qualifying them for JM system?Comment -

#370I am new to JM system. I read that you fade the superbowl team earlier in this thread. Saints are playing seattle this week and they covered the last two spreads. This week the spread vs Seattle is -12. Will the C bet be "seattle +14 (buying 2pts)" since i read earlier that you need to get the spread close to 3, 7, 10, or 14?
Can someone please update me on this NFL system since I am new to it.

#373I see Houston (A) for +7
I see Carolina (A) for +10.5
How many points do I buy on these games? Is it like the NBA system when you buy 3pts or do you just wager straight up?Comment -

#375Whats the strategy behind buying the points. Why only buy 1/2 a pt? is it just to make sure there are no pushes? Can you give me an explanation to buying the pionts using Houston as an example?
If Houston was +3, +4, +5, +6, +7
How many points would you buy for each?Comment -

#378im not sure how the rules work for this NFL system. I understand your betting on a team that lost striaght up and ats for 3 straight games. All is fine and dandy, but there are rules for the nba system that would make neither houston or carolina a bet this week.
1) QB probably will be out for houston.
2) Carolina has the worst road record in the nfl.
NBA states: if top player is out for the nba team then you pass on the series.
If the team has the worst road record in the nba then you pass on the series.
Do the same rules apply to the NFL?
Please update me on some of the rules of this system please.Comment -

#379quick question. so for this week i would bet on the money line for the favorites and then bet on the dogs to cover.
are the units supposed to be the same for each? or different units on each to pay out equally?Comment -

#380its not a unit equation it just goes by how much do u wanna win at the A bet orgininally? and then u have to carry that out throughout the whole bet series if it goes to a C bet and yes if the team is fav then ML if not get the spread........
does anyone on her know if Carolina is an offical play this week sent out by John? let me know please thanksComment -

#381I receive JM's e-mails. I have not received one this week.
Houston should be a play, unless JM believes that their 31-24 loss last weekend covered the spread. Covers.com has the spread at +6, so it is possible that JM's bookie, BetUS, had Houston at +7, and therefore covered.
If JM had sent an e-mail listing only Houston, I would be content that Carolina is not a play due to their play-off standing. The lack of an e-mail leads me to believe that JM is passing on both Houston and Carolina this weekend.

guys,
by the "letter of the law" isn't carolina still alive. if they finished 8-8 there is a chance. i agree the odds are slim but lan doesn't even know his own filters.Comment -

#383Unless I've been overlooked by JM's distribution list I believe he has either forgotten or is overworked (due to his daily picks and daily buffet services) such that he has not sent out the e-mail. Therefore, using the system rules, I will be betting on both Carolina and Houston today.
I'm handicapping Carolina to +14.5 and Houston to +7.5.
