#216[FONT=verdana]i started combing through some numbers for last year. i found that teams who were .500 and better and who lost 2 out of 3 games in a L-W-L fashion (which elimates them from my mod system) went 7-1 in 2009 on a 3 game chase, with 5 games winning on the A game the winners were: balt, minn, nyj, nyg, packers, pats, chargers the loss was the jacksonville jaguars (they lost 4 in a row SU and ATS to end the season) teams who fit this criteria for next week are the Green Bay Packers and the Houston Texans. what do you guys think of this? does the theory sound good? is a +.500 team who loses 2 out of 3 any different than that same team losing two in a row?Comment -

#221What's up fellas. I've been thinking about this LWL system, and I think the real value of it is not chasing, but to play them as one time games only. Last year, out of the 7 wins, 6 were on the A bet, which gives us a 6-2 record +3.8 units. This year, the record is 3-1 +1.9 units.
So scratch the B bet and proceed with the GB A bet and I recommend playing Chicago -2.5 against the redskins.Comment -

#230From On3's first post in this thread concerning the JM system. He didn't note any changes in his modified system for the betting strategy:
"Rules are this:
Chase a team for 3 games once they lose 3 games SU AND 3 ATS. Bet the ML for favorites, and take the points for dogs. Buy up (or down) if the line is close to a key number (3, 7, 10, 14, etc)."
So since GB and Chicago are both favorites, play the moneyline.Comment -

#231As far as college football plays go, people in this thread have posted them according to jm's nfl system. But be careful because they are a little riskier. So far this season I think they have all covered by the C bet. This weeks plays are teams with 3 losses in a row SU and ATS. They are FAU @ Ark St, Cent Mich. @ N. Ill and Virginia vs E.Mich. Virginia is heavily favored so a moneyline bet would be out of the question. Maybe a tease or parlay but then it defeats the system. GLComment -
