#215Oregon was making me nervous right before that streak. I think we'll be ok in the next half. Bean talks about there being a strong second half play on the selected team for some reason. I personally haven't witnessed this, but I've only been using this for a day, plus, I'm betting on a lot of non-televised games/games I don't get where I'm at.Comment -

#227i had a good day today too. I would love to know, I just think it will be a pain generating the home and away avg point totals for each week since Im not sure if they are on the web anywhere.Comment -

hey, im pretty new to sportsbetting so i was basically just following some of the picks here until i had some success in the past 2 days with your system.
today i tried something new by betting for first half spreads with system numbers and first half ratios from covers.com where u can see all needed stats for the system and a lot more.
so far went 3-1 with my picks today so im really looking forward for tomorrows picks.Comment -

#232This system produced another great day! I'm happy I received good suggestions for the plays, however, still kicking myself
for not playing Penn St, Bowling Green and Indiana......Pitt was the only real loser and the Cincy game was what we thought.....
Stay away.....too close to call and South Florida somehow covered on the road.......I went 3-0 and the stats are on the SBR site for the NBA. I think we can use those stats......Will be working on Mondays games......Once again Thanks!!!......Comment -

Yup got the same numbers, slightly different actual lines. I'm using a threshold of a difference of 3 points, so it looks like the statistically correct plays tmo are as follows..
UNCW +10.5
Notre Dame +12.5
Depaul +5
Oklahoma State -6
Monmouth +6.5
St Peters +13.5
Montana State +1
Furman +1
Alabama AM -5

#236The response to the system is Excellent and good Karma.....When it all shakes out Monday's plays are 2 categories (what I have):
3 possessions from threshold of 2:
Furman
Montana St
St. Peter's
2 possessions from 2
Rider
Notre Dame
Monmouth
UncW
I'm leaning towards 3 possession category (still good with a higher threshold) only - Furman, Montana St and St. Peter's......All other matchups are a crapshoot.. Have to discuss injuries, outside experts etc. Any thoughts??Comment -

#237How do you come up with these categories?Comment -
Fins007SBR High Roller

#238I'm using 2 point baskets when creating a threshold.....You can use 3's if you want or a combo......According to the system my first
category it will take at least 3 two point baskets to offset the difference in the line vs threshold.....In the second category, it will
take 2 two point baskets to offset the difference in the line vs threshold......As I mentioned, you can use 3's if you want (everyone sets their own threshold and risk tolerance).....This is why the 1st category are the best plays it takes into an account at least 1 three point basket and a two point basket or three two's (what I use).....Two possessions or more from your threshold is optimum.....Hope it helpsComment -

#239I'm probably going to cut UNCW... this will be their third road game in a row and Drexel has owned them in the past. The one thing UNCW has going is the fact that in the month of January, they only lost 2 games by 11 points or more, but one of those games was to Drexel at home by 16.Comment -

#242Ok St is a borderline call in this system. Only makes the threshold by about a point bucket with current line.....Your probably best
just throwing it out altogether........There are better games to be had......We discussed Monday's games in previous posts.Comment -

#243The system appears to favor home teams but if you look at the system, get the current line, use outside experts you could get a dog
that fits the system as well.....Examples include Cincy vs South Florida........SF was a 14 point dog and covered on the road. It doesn't happen often but Notre Dame and St. Peter's as possible leans tonight with this system.....They may eventually get thrown out but they do meet the criteria.......Hope it helps.Comment -

#245DePaul does make it into the system but with their two top scorers probably out (Cleveland Melvin, Billy Garrett Jr) it's not an advised play. McKinney is also doubtful for DePaul.Comment
