Using this system, this is what I have after calculations ( I like Wisc/Mil and Pitt as top picks):
Wisc/Mil- -2
Pitt - 4
Penn St. -3
Bowling Green +3 (Bowling Green looks like the call here but not playing well)
UCLA and William and Mary games are too close....UCLA playing well and on the road...
Indiana line doesn't make sense under this system. Possible upset? Michigan is playing the best ball in the Big 10.
Cincy line favors South Florida but both teams coming off nice wins...Cincy at home has value and SF stinks on the road. 14 points is a lot.

Any thoughts???

I think cincy can smash them and sf cant score, not sure if ill lay 14 tho. system says IU has has higher point projection than mich..I took +2,5 but im bias thats my alma mater lol id use the calculation as a starting point and then take into count things like how hot a team is playing or how bad a team is playing

Milwaukee is the top lay of the day. I'd forget about Pitt, this system only shows a one score difference. Same with Penn. Same with WM/UCLA. Bowling Green looks fabulous after you do the math, but then when you take into account that they have 2 key players out for this game, you can see how Vegas got to the number that they did. I agree Indiana's line doesn't make sense, as the system favors Indiana after you do the math, but the expert consensus numbers come into direct conflict. Same with Cincy/SF. That makes me skittish. So at any rate, Wisc Mil is the only play for me today.

I got Pitt -6. Make sure you are using only the home stats for home team and only the road stats for away team. Don't go off total season team stats.

PA on the Road(VA) = 63.6

77.6 + 63.6 = 141.2 / 2 = 70.6



PPG on Road (VA) = 69.3

Home Team PA (Pitt) = 59.8
69.3 + 59.8 = 129.1 / 2 = 64.55



70.6 - 64.55 = 6.05



Which means that Pitt should technically be favored now by -6.05

I can see Oregon St being about 3 scores ahead on this system (consensus experts don't all see it that way) and UCLA playing well but on the road.
Wisc/Mil is the only pick everyone seems to like....That's all good Karma....
I'm not big on trying to play hero and upsets so Indiana is a sort of a reach but the line indicates otherwise and Penn St is playing well and at home.....A more secure move to cover all bases (in addition to playing Wisc/Mil and Oregon St would be to tease Penn St and Indiana......The points at home at both places make a good hedge on the day.

Everyone seems to be getting different numbers and confusing things. These are the exact numbers from the spreadsheet using scoresandodds.com for the rest of the day.

WI/mil -5.9
Indiana -6.25
Bowling Green -5.35
James Madison -2.25

I dont know as much about college bb as most of you so the fact that every one of these matchups falls into the 2 points range as a good bet, makes me a little apprehensive. Maybe someone can come along and pick apart these matchups before the games start.
