Here is the full MLB card. We got off to a great start. Wish we would have taken the opener of 8.5 in Brewers/Reds because we would have won instead of pushed. But I was initially turned off by the huge public backing of that play. I should not have waited.

If we can cash two of the three late games, we will end up having a nice night in MLB!

In the NBA, I feel fortunate to have a total of 87 first half points. Let's get some hot shooting in the 2h and hit this big 10x total play on the over. I am not hedging. I've seen this type of game go over too many times to hedge out. Let's just cash it!

As it stands now, we're in pretty good shape considering the 1Q. Currently on pace for about 181, but an uptempo start to the 3Q can easily push us back up to where we need to be. Most importantly, the Mavs are hitting their 3pt shots, and when those are falling, the Mavs have a LOT more flexibility in how they score. I still like our original number at 186. The 4Q should be another high scoring quarter and a close game is good for us.

We are only 10 points off an over pace. I'm not going to hedge or even sweat it. I think we cash this as both teams heat up with their shooting in the 2h. Dallas currently shooting 38% to the Heat's 36% and we're only 10 off a cashing pace. I expect both teams to have shooting percentages at 44% or better by the end of the game and that will be enough for us to cash this play.

Just be confident in the play and it will hit!

My sentiments exactly. Nothing to worry about at this point. I've seen these types of games go over all year. Both teams just need to start scoring some quick baskets in transition a little bit more and we'll be fine. As you say, if Dallas is hitting their 3's, we should be ok. I think it will be close, but I'm still predicting a final score between 188 and 193.

Very disappointing 3rd quarter. Just piss poor shooting all game long. 37% and 35% as I type with one minute left in the third.

Well...not a bad night to get my first winner on an over due to OT. After losing as many unders to OT as I have all season (I believe the tally is now 17 after the recent Bulls/Heat OT) and 2 in the playoffs alone, variance has to be on my side to cash an over due to OT.

We'll see. Good luck over backers...we'll need it.

Unfortunately, this is true. We need 61 points in the fourth quarter.

If this doesn't cash, I believe I underestimated the long layoff. The difference between this opening game and the opening games that cashed overs in earlier rounds, was the extended layoff. In the earlier rounds, there was maybe a 2-3 day layoff at most. In this round, Dallas was off 5 days and the Heat 4 days. I think instead of fresh legs, it led to more of a rusty shot. That was a miscalculation on my part and one I will always remember.

It's always a learning process....
